FAIRYTALE WEDDING

The DiMuzio wedding festivities began Friday evening with rehearsal at the Peter Allen Inn. The twins fell asleep on the drive there, but couldn't sleep too long because everyone was excited to see them and rehearse for the ceremony.

The kids rehearsed well and Tenley assured everyone that she'd get Everly and Wesley down the aisle. After rehearsal, we sat down together for the most amazing barbecue chicken, brisket, garlic mashed potatoes, balsamic asparagus, mac 'n cheese and sipped on Mike's amazing Mr. November red wine. It was the perfect start to a beautiful wedding weekend.

Everyone left, but the girls stayed with Sara for her final night as a single lady. We got in our cozy Kate Spade PJ's from Sara, popped champagne and had the sweetest bartender mixing Tito's and soda  for us by the fire pit.

We were up bright and early and served the best breakfast I've ever had. That homemade biscuit breakfast sandwich was heaven and I ate everything on my plate and then some.

Ed brought the kids back to the Peter Allen Inn around noon, also in their jammies from Sara and Anthony. They were excited to get ready with us and help Sara with the finishing touches.

Seating chart was finalized, name cards were made, and dinner rolls were tied with pretty bows. Everything was done with love and so perfect.

A string quartet set up for the ceremony and the kids were mesmerized by their music. They danced and watched in awe of their lovely music.

Guests started arriving so we went inside and waited for the ceremony to begin.

When the music started Ev found Sara and said, "good wuck, Swara!" and we all gushed. The girls were starstruck as she looked like a real life princess, the prettiest bride I've ever seen.

The kids did so good as flower girls and ring "giver". The girls threw their white petals and Wesley didn't lose the rings. Throughout the ceremony Wes kept giving the girls a thumbs up from across the way. After the wedding he told me this was the only wedding he'd be in because "it was too much work."

While the DiMuzio's took pictures as husband and wife, we enjoyed cocktail hour and the kids started their own dance party.

The DiMuzio's were introduced as husband and wife for the first time, then we sat down together to enjoy another delicious dinner.

After dinner, it was time to cut the cake. Of course, my sweet-toothed girls wanted in on it and Sara and Anthony didn't hesitate to include them.

Sara and Anthony danced their first dance, while the girls watched and the boys were busy "making mischief".

While Sara and Uncle Bill danced, I had flash backs to them dancing on stage when she danced at Miss Kathy's. When Anthony and his mom danced Ev gazed longingly at them.

When Anthony was done dancing with his mom, Ev butt in and asked him if she could dance with him. It was the sweetest thing and Anthony made her day as he twirled her under the gazebo. Tenley couldn't resist joining them.

It was now time for the reception, but I was most excited for the cookie table; which is a midwest tradition that is my absolute favorite! I was really looking forward to inhaling some buckeyes. The kids wasted no time getting down on the dance floor.

We partied until the kids couldn't hang any more. I was so proud of them for hanging in as long as they did, being so well behaved and such a blast the whole day.

The DiMuzio wedding was truly a fairytale. Everything was such a vision and so perfectly put together, but most of all the love between Sara and Anthony is so evident. They remind me so much of my Aunt Julie and Uncle Bill. I know their marriage will stand the test of time and I'm so happy to see my cousin have a fairytale wedding with her soul mate.

We're beyond grateful to Sara and Anthony for including us in their special day, as it was a day we will never forget. My favorite part was how they so genuinely included my kids in everything that was so special to them. I can see how much they love my kids; which as a mother is everything to me. I'm so excited for them to be happily married and have a family of their own someday. They are going to do great things together in the future.

Cheers to Mr. & Mrs. Anthony DiMuzio!
