Weekly Update

This week Tenley really enjoyed eating her hands...

and anything she could put in her mouth, really. I mean look at this chick:

It really made us wonder if baby was teething so Daddy went in to inspect:

No teeth yet! Thank God. However, baby girl did go through a major growth spurt this week for 2 days, then slept for 2 straight days while watching 'Finding Nemo'.

(Like mother like daughter.)

Baby girl loves movies so Karina and I took the girls to see Beauty & The Beast in 3D and our little beauties loved it! Tenley loved the previews (especially the part that shows the concessions as if your on a roller coaster), but the music in the beginning of the movie relaxed her and put her to sleep. Our girls were so well behaved; we were such proud mommies!

After the movie date Tenley was pooped and fell asleep on me:

Tenley has also been into books and we read to her every day:

(It was a real nail-biter.)

Baby started playing in her Pooh bouncer this week. She doesn't quite play just yet. She just eats Pooh's head.

Tenley also got to hang out with Grace this week and Grace even tried to teach Tenley how to clap:

Since Grammy and Uncle Mikey are in town (post on their visit to follow later on), little love bug got dolled up and mommy went snap happy with the camera. Baby looked so cute I just couldn't stop...

Until next time! :)

Weekly Update

For Christmas, Kasie made me these awesome wine glasses for our "Moscato Monday" nights. So this Monday we celebrated my birthday with our first Moscato Monday of the year. Kasie got me the best birthday gift - movie tickets with this awesome babysitting card:

Thanks, Kase!!

Tenley enjoyed Kasie's company too and was soooo excited to see her that she pooped her pants and partied naked the rest of the night.

Tenley started to bite her bottom lip this week; which makes for even more drool.

She's also started to hold onto things.
She really likes to fall asleep while holding your shirt or her blanket.

Bath time is still her favorite time of day.

(Look at ALLLLL that droooooool!!!!)

She likes to "fly" with daddy.

Baby girl got her ears pierced this week, too. I made the appointment late in the afternoon so that Eddie could go to the pediatrician with me. When we got there I kept saying that maybe we shouldn't do this to her and that she was too young, but I reassured myself that she was in good hands with Dr. Vu. When we went into the room we marked her ears and Ed and Dr. Vu held our lil' squirmy worm down and he pierced her ears while I stood in the corner with my hands over my eyes saying "Oh my God! Oh my God!" and feeling like thee worst mother EVER, but she was a champ and looks just as cute as ever!

She also had a play date with Avery this week.

(Little Fun Fact: these two had the same due date - October 21st. Tenley was born on October 26th and Avery was born on November 4th.)

After Tenley's play date with Avery, Tenley did tummy time and look what our little munchkin did for the first time...

At first, she would cry when she landed on her back. Either 1 because she was scared or 2 because we would scream with excitement, either way she's now rolling!!

Ok, she doesn't roll over in this video, but she is just so darn cute in it and does such a good job at holding her head up that I had to gush share!

She continues to roll from her tummy and even started rolling on her side from her back.

Everyday is a new adventure with my little Tenley Bear and I just love every second of it!

Until next time :)

Weekly Update

We kicked off the week at the park.

Baby girl learned to stick her tongue out.

She learned how to pick up her rattle.

She had a play date with her bestie - Sofia.

We celebrated my 25th Birthday.

Baby girl has been dominating tummy time and grabs her toys like a champ!

She's also developed a bigger personality and has been smiling so much more and she's soooo close to laughing, I could just feel it!

Teddy does tummy time so much that Pearl often joins her.

She also loves her to sit in her Pooh chair and act like a big girl.

Play time with Daddy always gets the biggest smiles.
(or so he thinks...)

(Doesn't it look like she has a full set of teeth on the bottom?! I can't handle it.)

Can this kid get any cuter? I just can't stand it. She's so dang cute!

Until next time :)
