Girls Night Out

I have been busy organizing Kasie's Bachelorette and trying to make it perfect for as long as I can remember. She's such a fun person so her bachelorette had to be fun to the max.

Luckily, Britt's dad works at the Paris and he got us hooked up in this suite that we decorated in a pink, black and a certain manly private part theme, of course:

When Kase arrived we quickly got her decked out and put a drink in her hand:

Then, she opened some naughty gifts:

Then, we were off to dinner at Mon Ami Gabi:

We were whisked away to Excalibur in a limo (compliments of Britt's dad, again. Major thanks to him!) where we had some drinks before the show...

Now, we were ready for some Aussie's at 'Thunder From Down Under':

Unfortunately, I got yelled at (several times) for trying to take pictures of the Aussie's. It was an interesting show to say the least. We got water flung on us by an almost naked Tom Cruise look-a-like and watched a married (probably 60 something year old) lady make out with the host and totally get molested by him. It was a good time.

After the show, our limo picked us back up and Kasie got lap dances in the limo by the best dancers of all time... her girlfriends!! Who needs gross sweaty men when you have good looking girlfriends, anyways?

She had some issues with her veil after that:

Then, we did some dancing at 1OAK:

I'm so glad everyone was able to come and celebrate Kasie's last night as a so called "single lady"! I'd say it was a successful girls night out; I hope everyone had a blast!

16 DAYS!!

Weekly Update

Ok, so I think Tenley is teething (again), but for real this time.


Reason being... baby typically has thee smoothest, most kissable, whitest butt crack I've ever seen, but this week it has been fire engine red and irritated looking. Diaper rash, right? Also, her top right gum is white and sharp so I'm thinking teething. I don't know. I'm horrible with this whole parenting non-sense. She always fools me so I guess we'll see if one morning she has a pearly white smiling back at me!


Baby just wanted to be held all week and in a desperate attempt to give my arms a break I broke out her walker from her Great Uncle Denny and Great Aunt Melissa to see if her legs could reach the ground. Since they didn't touch I just let her hit the buttons for a minute and she loved all the music it played:

When her genius Daddy came home and adjusted it, T was able to touch the floor:

She was only able to make little baby steps the first day in the walker, but lovedddd all the music it played! When she realized that she was controlling the music it made her so proud every time she heard the music. My little miss is so smart! 

Apparently it doesn't take much for this one to learn because the next day she was moving all around the house in her walker:

I was in my office working and these two came around the corner:

This chick loves her walker! I mean, just look at her in this thing:

Another hit around the house is her Pooh bouncer:

We can even take it outside for her to play in:

Frannie & Matt came over for dinner and this was T's reaction when I told her they were coming to visit:

We also celebrated Tenley's first Easter!

Eggstra Special

To me, Easter is like Christmas (minus all the lights); which made this weekend extra fun!

Although Tenley had already taken her picture with the Easter Bunny, Karina and Sofia invited us to go to Ethel M's for some Easter fun Saturday afternoon - Easter Bunny pics (for free might I add!!), face paintings, decoracted cactus gardens, art, music, food, etc.... We couldn't resist!

Since T hogged the Easter Bunny last time we thought it'd be fun/cheesy to get all of us this time:

The weather was total perfection and we had fun hoppin' around the garden with our lil' bunny:

The girls played in the garden:

It was lots of fun and we'll definitely make this an Easter tradition.

When we got home, T and Daddy were full of cuteness:

Then, some bunny decided to sit up for the first time!!!!

She's so strong that she was even moving while sitting up:

She sat up for so long that I even caught it on video!!

After that milestone, we dyed Easter eggs and T wanted to show off some more:

Growing up, my family always hid our Easter baskets so I wanted to carry on that tradition with Tenley. That night I had Ed hide her Easter basket so her and I could search for it in the morning. Then we left out carrots for the Easter Bunny and went to bed.
(See, it's almost just like Christmas... so much fun!) 


I woke up early to cook the ham and this is how my two sleepy heads were cuddled up:

When they woke up, T and I found her Easter basket hidden on the side on the couch behind Pearl's toys:

Then came the fun part... GIFTS from the Easter Bunny!!

It was so much fun watching her attempt to open presents. She's so determined at everything she tries. When she tries something and can't do it she squeals and grunts so it was super funny to watch her see a toy under the paper, but not be able to get it just yet. I'm sure she'll have the whole 'opening of the presents' thing down by her first birthday!

After we finished with presents, Tenley put on her Easter dress...

...and we headed to the park to enjoy the beautiful day!

Daddy even flew her pretty butterfly kite from the Easter Bunny to entertain us:

Although we were sad we didn't get to spend the holiday with our families in Ohio, we were determined to not let it get us down and we had such a great Easter. We didn't get to actually "see" our families, but we did FaceTime with some of them. Tenley got to model her Easter dress and pink bunny ears for everyone and show off her talented walker skills. It was nice and I think it made their Easter much more special.

No matter where the 3 of us are in the world we always have the best time together; which is what is most important to us. This Easter was great and Tenley sure did make it eggstra special!
