Last summer Courtney got Grace the cutest quilts from Utah at their annual "Duck Creek Days" so when we found out we were expecting, Eddie and I were determined to go to Utah to get our little one some cute quilts, too. We planned on driving up to Duck Creek and meeting up with the Espejo and Gruber family for the day, but the Grubers invited us to stay the night at their cabin so we drove up Saturday morning and went to "Duck Creek Days" together.
The weather was perfect and they had tons of yummy food and craft stands.
I'm pretty sure this kid is good on quilts now because we bought four!
(Lisa bought Teddy the quilt to the left - thanks, Lisa!!)
I was pleased with the blankets we got and Court got Gracie more blankets, too. We headed back to the Gruber's cabin, hung out and ate a delicious dinner. We also went down to their pond to take some photos:
Even though our trip was short, it was nice to get away from the Vegas heat for a day. The Grubers have a beautiful cabin and the scenery is out of this world. We love Utah, especially when we get to spend the time with the Espejo and Gruber families!
