Thanks to YouTube Kids (and my amazing parenting skills) Wes learned about John Cena and insisted on wearing his baseball hat backwards and kept saying, "it's too hot. I think I need to take my shirt off":
Since the weather was cooler and too good to pass up, the twins and I walked my favorite walk and enjoyed the beautiful view of our city:
Tenley's class earned crazy sock day for getting so many pledges for the Fun Run and she was really excited about it:
Everyone goes to school on Tuesdays and seeing all of their work makes my heart so happy! Homework time is absolutely my favorite time of the day:
We went on our favorite walk again Wednesday morning before heading to the park:
The kids are really pushing us getting Pearly a friend and I really want a mini golden doodle. On our way back, we ran into two mini golden doodles and fell in love with them:
We came home to our main pooch- Pearly:
Tenley's second bottom tooth is loose so I made sure to take a pic before it falls out:
I dropped Ev and Wes off at school, then headed to Tenley's Apex Fun Run Thursday morning. She was excited, but made it clear that she did not want to get sweaty! Typical Tenley. I was so proud of her for actually running the whole time. Tenley is not the sporty type so to see her try so hard melted my heart! She ran 30 laps; which meant she raised $150 for her school and the Thirst Project. I couldn't be more proud of this sweet girl for doing her best:
Hot Heads has this amazing pulled beef barbecoa bowl and I love it, but hate that I don't know what it's made with. So I found a beef barbecoa and white queso recipe and it made all my dreams come true (of course, I used all organic ingredients and healthed it up):
Ev and I cheered Wesley on at T-ball practice Thursday evening:
The twins were exhausted after school Friday morning. Ev couldn't get over the fact that she wasn't allowed to have cake for lunch ('cause that's normal). I had to put her in her room because she was being so bad and she ended up ripping apart her room and eventually fell asleep:
Wes had his second T-ball game Saturday morning. It was pretty hot; which had him running even slower than usual (if you can imagine that), but he still did so good! He continues to enjoy it more and more each time he plays and we love cheering him on:
We spent Saturday evening with the Rice crew. We never get to see them during the week so we love when we can hang with them on the weekends:
Ed is running 4 schools for his company and after his hours spent there he's working at Aria. He worked all day Sunday so I had to wake the kids up early to take them to Pat's while I worked:
When Pat opened the door she had Halloween music playing, bacon frying and cinnamon rolls baking...at 7am! She basically answered the door with a halo on her head. I'm so appreciative of her and Harris for loving my kiddos so much. When I picked them up after work Linds and the kids were there and their house was covered in glitter. Grandma's houses are always the best:
(Thanks, Pat!! We love you more than you know!!)
I've been feeling so lonely without Ed. I'm beyond grateful he has a good job and doing so well, but we freaking miss him. We were supposed to spend our Sunday at the Pumpkin Patch, but it didn't feel right without Daddy so we stayed in, decorated the house for Halloween and played 'Trick-or-Treat':
Until next time! :)
