Ed and I always say that Ev only sees rainbows and sparkles. She is truly unique. When she's grown, I picture her still being very dainty, but a total feminist fighting for equality because girlfriend has never met a person she didn't love to snuggle. She is always full of smiles, unless you say "no" to ice cream. One day she wants to play soccer, then the next day be a prima ballerina. This year was her second dance recital and she wasn't too jazzed that it was tap. She especially didn't like that it was to a fast-paced song... she's more of a go with the flow, at her own pace type of gal. Needless to say, she still put on a brave face and was excited for the show.
Grammy and Pop Pop were in town so she was even more excited that they got to see her dance.
In try Ev fashion, she danced to the beat of her own drum. We may be biased, but I still think she stole the show.
Everly was so excited to get flowers from us and a sweet card made by her big sis.
We were all so happy Grammy and Pop Pop got to see Everly's recital. There's nothing like the special times we get to share these moments with our family when they're in town.
And Everly, we're so proud of you for being brave and dancing in front of a big audience yet again. You are amazing and I know you'll never lose that special sparkle!
