We decided to spend Valentine's Day at home this year with our #1 gal.
While Ed worked I had a few tricks up my Pinterest inspired sleeve...
I was determined to recreate this fancy-dancy Valentine's Day Love Fort:
Initially your first thought would be like, "I could totally do that!" Right?! Well, shit...
That fancy-dancy love fort requires a hammer and screw-thingy-ma-bobs! I know, right?
Just look at the contraption it wanted me to make while Tenley was napping:

So in Ditata Reality Land, this is what my Valentine's Day Love Fort looked like:
I believe they say, "It's the thought that counts"...
While my little love child continued to nap I got to make Ed his favorite meal - lasagna.
Then, Tenley Bear and I made him these delish sugar cookies:
Tenley was in such a good mood on Valentine' Day that she let me take lots of pictures while we waited for Daddy to get home:
(Blowing kisses!!)
We also sent Daddy pictures like this during the day...
...and this one to show him what he was missing out on:
(Thanks for the present, Tenley...)
Tenley was all smiles when Daddy brought us home these beautiful roses:
She even had fun opening her presents in the fancy-dancy Valentine's Day Love Fort:
This was my favorite Valentine's Day thus far!
Ed and I are so fortunate to have shared it with the love of our lives - Tenley.
Love you, Ed and Teddy! <3
