Pinky Promise

My handsome hub-man/world's greatest father turned 28 on Labor Day!! This is officially the 10th birthday that we've celebrated together. Crazy, huh? We're getting old, but we're doing it together so I guess that makes it a little bit better, right?

To celebrate he wanted to take his girls to Mandalay Bay's Shark Reef...

We had a blast!! Tenley was in awe of everything. I highly recommend it!

When we got home Tenley and Daddy had a tickle fest and Ed kept throwing her into the pile of pillows on our bed. He made her pinky promise that no matter how big she got that she would always let him throw her into the pillows and tickle her on his birthday. It was his only birthday wish...

To seal his birthday wish, Tenley helped Daddy blow out the candles on his ice cream cake:

Lots of ice cream kisses ensued and Ed had what I would say was a pretty perfect birthday! Since Tenley Bear is such a Daddy's girl I think he has a pretty good chance of his wish coming true. (I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, babe.)

I'm so fortunate to have shared T-E-N birthdays with such an amazing man and I'm even more fortunate to know that I'll celebrate them with him for the rest of his life. Here's to many more great birthdays together (as a family now)!
