We seem to frequent the District's splash pad these days. It's nice because we're not running back and forth between a million different playgrounds. The kids had a blast with the Rice girls and baby Beckham:
We spent Tuesday morning at Fun Lane with the Poe boys. The kids could literally play there all day; it's always a good time:
Tenley and Wes got their headphones in the mail and now we're ready for their trip to Ohio. So ready that they even started to pack their bags:
Wednesday was hotter than Hell and I decided it was the perfect day to weed the yard and clean the patio. At least the kids had fun playing outside, while I dripped sweat into my eyeballs:
The sun totally wiped out the twins (and me):
We celebrated Sarah's birthday at Bouncey World Wednesday night and it was awesome. It was kind of like the pumpkin patch x a million more bouncy slides and zero pumpkins. We had a total blast:
(Happy birthday, Sarah!!)
Since Karina was going to California for her birthday we celebrated a few days early. The kids and I brought over yummy blueberry muffins for breakfast and sang our best 'Happy Birthday' to one of our most favorite people:
(Happy birthday, Karina!! We love you to pieces!!)
Ev was the only one who napped that afternoon. Girlfriend was so exhausted that I eventually had to wake her up at 4pm:
Wes got his 4th haircut Friday morning. Homeboy's hair grows like a weed (if only Ev's was the same!):
I promised Wes a donut if he was a good boy for his haircut so everyone got a treat after:
The kids were all wound up after that sugar and did not want to nap, until Momma Tee Tee cuddled them to sleep, that is:
We had a delicious dinner at the Rices Friday night and we all had so much fun, per usual:
The girls were playing "Sleeping Beauty" and kept getting woken up by their Prince:
Ed worked over time on Saturday so my in-laws came over bright and early so I could still make my barre class. The kids woke up early and I asked them if they were ready to see Grammy and Pop Pop, they immediately grabbed their backpacks and started packing for their first sleepover later:
That morning we had Amelia's first birthday bash. Of course, the kids made a b-line towards the pool and immediately started doing cannon balls. The kids has so much fun swimming with all of their friends:
(Happy birthday, Amelia!! We love you!!)
After that pool party, I took the kids to Grammy and Pop Pop's hotel to swim some more. The kids relaxed in the cabana before going down the slide over and over again with Grammy and Pop Pop. It was seriously hilarious watching my in-laws fly down the slide with the kids:
Later that night, we made our way up to Grammy and Pop Pop's room to see their beautiful view of Lake Las Vegas:
We had planned for months that the kids stay with them for their first ever sleepover, but I don't think I was ready for it when it actually happened. It felt so weird to leave them, not having them scream while I drove, and not having them run to Pearl for hugs when they got home. The house was so quiet so we had to get out. We decided to go see 'Bad Moms' and I'm so glad we did because I laughed so hard I cried about 5 times and actually cried about 10 times because I missed the kids. It was so nice to sleep in peace though, plus the kids were in great hands:
Although we were only gone from the kids for about 17 hours, it felt like a lifetime and I couldn't wait to squeeze their sweet faces. We met them at the pool for a little swim and LOTS of pool side snuggles:
That night the cousins got in lots of lovins:
(I love the way they're looking at her!!)
This was a really busy week for us and next week is going to be even busier. In true Kelli fashion I added even more to my plate by making the decision to join Rodan + Fields! I'm super excited to start this journey:
