Weekly Update

The twins and I spent our Monday morning catchin' up with the Venturino girls while Tenley was at school reviewing:

The kids had a blast at Bounce U celebrating Fable's 5th birthday Monday afternoon:

(Happy birthday, Fable!!)

While the twins were reviewing at school Tuesday morning, Tenley and I got our nails done and she was over the moon when the nail tech started adding flowers and glitter to her nails (DAY MADE):

The kids get everything they want...whenever they want it. I decided that it was getting out of hand and made each kid a sticker chart to earn what they wanted. They'll get a sticker every time they do something good, say something nice to someone, get a compliment on their behavior, complete a chore, go to school without tears, eat their entire meal or have good behavior all day. Once they get to 40 they get to buy the item they've been working towards. Ev wants purple lip gloss, Wes wants Poison Ivy and, of course, Tenley wants a wedding magazine:

Tuesday night we celebrated Sailor's 2nd birthday. It seems like just yesterday she was born and now she's the silliest and sweetest girl! We love her so much and I'm certain the feeling is quite mutual:

(I imagine she's saying, "shhhh Wes, it's going to be alright...")

(Happy birthday, sweet Rosie girl!! We love you so much!!)

Wes woke up extra silly Wednesday morning, "wook momma, me a wally-us":

Wes had his 7th-ish haircut Wednesday morning and looked like such a stud with his fresh cut:

The kids were so good at the salon so we went to play at the park for a bit:

Tenley learned about foods that are good for your heart and foods that aren't. She also brought home a picture that her friend Hazel made her:

Ev helped me prep for class, while T finally finished her butterfly wings:

Thurdsay was Tenley and I's turn for haircuts. She was in Heaven as I got my hair colored because they had 'Brides' magazines:

It was Ev and Wes' turn to learn about heart healthy foods. When I asked Wes what he learned about he said, "Miss Susan said cookies no good for me heart, but I said 'cookies good for me!'" I was dying! I love when they give me their intake on what they learned:

The kids never nap anymore. It's so lame, but sometimes they choose to snuggle with me so I can't complain:

Pure Barre had a "Barre to Bar to Movie" Thursday night so I taught, took class, then went to Borrachas with some of my favorite ladies. Nothing like eating your weight in tortilla chips with amazing company:

I always spend Fridays grocery shopping so we can enjoy Ed's days off. The twins love our trips to Costco, every time we make our way towards the refrigerator rooms to pick our produce they huddle up and talk about how they're going to keep each other warm. I spend way more time in there then I should just because I find it so stinking cute:

Tenley made a cute Valentine Tree at school on Friday:

Ev has been in a dance funk recently. The class went from 2 to 8 girls and she hasn't been enjoying it as much. She has always been very independent and loves to play alone so I think she's having a hard time adjusting to all the new girls. It breaks my heart because I know how much she truly loves it. Luckily, she was Line Leader so it cheered her up a bit:

Tenley's class worked on their recital routine and she was thrilled to be partners with her bestie:

I taught Saturday afternoon and we celebrated one of my favorite client's birthdays:

For the past few weeks I've been planning a surprise date night for Ed. I never have anything to get him because he never says he wants anything. Whenever I do surprise him with a gift, he returns it because he says he "doesn't need it"! After I finished class, I texted him this letter board I made earlier to surprise him:

I took Ed to Ventano for dinner, then we headed to GVR to test out the churro ice cream sandwich at Borrachas. We legit stuffed our faces! We always have so much fun together and some quiet time with him is more than I could've asked for for Valentine's Day:

We met the Espejo and Gerfy crew at the park Sunday afternoon and we had so much fun playing as it sprinkled outside:

The kids got stickers from great Grammy Sophie in the mail and enjoyed making scenes with them:
(Thanks, Grammy!! We love you!!)

Kids went to bed early tonight. After reading books to the twins, we go read and put Tenley to bed. As we shut Tenley's door, we could tell that Ev was lying on the floor by her door. She was singing as we walked by. She sang, "Oh. My. Gosh...look at her butt!" (Thanks, 'Sing''!)

And on that note, until next time! :)
