Tenley has been looking forward to Valentine's day since the day after Christmas. Girlfriend loves Holidays, especially ones that involve loving on people. She was so excited for her Valentine's party and was grinning ear-to-ear:
While T was off celebrating Valentine's Day a day early, the twins and I took advantage of the sunshine and enjoyed our morning at the park together:
Tenley had a blast at school and came home with lots of goodies from her friends:
That afternoon I was shocked when Ev actually fell asleep during "relaxation time":
She must've been super pooped because she came in our bed and slept-in extra late Tuesday morning:
Tuesday was Valentine's Day and my littlest Valentine's were so excited for their party at school:
While Ev and Wes were at their party, Tenley had a donut date with her Valentine at the park. She picked out chocolate candies for Jackson and Liam and was super excited to give it to them:
When the Holmes crew arrived, the boys spoiled Tenley with so many gifts! Liam brought her a picture and a Guy Diamond slap band and Jackson brought her a picture, M&Ms and flowers. Jackson walked up to Tenley with his hands behind his back, then handed her a felt flower bouquet and it put her over the moon! They had so much fun playing and eating donuts together:
Tenley was so smitten with her flowers. She wouldn't put them down, not even for a second. The kids wore their Valentine hats that they made at school and, of course, Tenley held her flowers close by:
We got the mail and the kids had lots of treats from Ohio. They were so excited and felt extra special:
(Thanks to everyone who made the kids smile! They felt so loved! We love you all!)
While Tenley was off at school learning about the letter 'Q', the twins and I soaked up some sun at the park:
Tenley and I spent Thursday morning at the park with the Rice gals:
Ev and Wes were pretty proud of their "rainbow drawings". When I asked Ev what 'Q' stood for she said, "coo-t-pie!" Yes, Evie, you are a cutie pie:
Wes was super sleepy after school and was so content cuddling in his big sissy's arms:
That evening, I taught two classes, then Ed met me for his first 'Bring on The Men' class. I love when he comes to Pure Barre because it's amazing to share something with him that I am so passionate about. We had such a good time and had so many good laughs! The best part was when we were 2 minutes into class and two men were laying on the floor saying they were done! Then after class they said, "NEVER AGAIN!" and "is this how you start beginners?" Guys don't understand that at Pure Barre we are some pretty hard core chicks. We're already looking forward to the next one:
Pretty crazy how many calories you can burn from teaching 2 classes and taking 1 class! I'd call this a success:
While Tenley finished her week at school learning about Presidents, the twins and I ran our errands and Wes was in Heaven when we saw a Lego Batman cut out:
Saturday mornings are consumed with dance class. Ev did better this week, but still came out to hug me every 15 seconds; which was fine by me:
After Ev was done, it was time for T's class:
While I taught Saturday afternoon, Ev napped and cuddled with Daddy:
The kids and I met their cousins at Kangamoo Sunday morning. We've never been there before and the kids loved it! They had a blast exploring the new play area, doing crafts and playing with their cousins:
Until next time! :)
