Weekly Update

This week the kids are learning about the letter 'T' so naturally Tenley thinks it's "her week". While Tenley was making tigers at school, the twins and I spent the morning at the Venturinos. We spent most of the morning coloring and Sofia made Tenley a beautiful masterpiece:

Back at home, Evie gave Pearly some lovins and check-ups, of course:

Tenley sent baby bro and sis off to school Tuesday morning and was thrilled to have mommy all to herself at the park:

The twins had fun at school and pretended to be tigers for the rest of the day:

Wednesday was Ev and Wes' turn to play at the park with mommy. We climbed, played 'Powa Rangers', splashed in puddles, rolled down hills and swung until our legs were too tired to swing anymore:

Tenley had the best day at school and couldn't stop bragging about her letter:

Wednesday was my first day off in 6 days!! Ev and I took full advantage of it by watching 'Moana' and actually napping at "nap time". Cuddling with Ev is the best because she curls into your body and holds on to you. Nap time with her is one of my favs:

While Ev and Wes were in school on Thursday, Tenley and I went to tour a Montessori school. I LOVED the concept, but we weren't sold on the school. The distance weighs heavy on my heart because I'd hate to be so far if she needed me. Its a K-8 school and the older kids terrified her. Poor thing clung to my legs the entire time; which is so not like my Tenley Bear. To cheer her up, we met the Holmes crew at the park:

The twins got progress reports on Thursday and all of the things that they got 'N''s (Needs Improvement) for in December, they improved to 'M''s for meets standards. I was so excited and proud of them! Since they did so well, Ed treated them to a trip to Target:

Before bringing T to school Friday morning, she insisted I take a picture of her with the roses Jackson gave her. Girlfriend looked so grown up and beautiful:

The twins and I did our grocery shopping Friday morning and they busted into the strawberries right away:

Tenley came home from school with a new "pet" and improved to 2 'E''s for Exceeds Standards on her progress report! This girl is getting SO big and makes me so proud:

The twins and I watched Moana together while Tenley was too cool to cuddle with us (insert eye roll here):

The weather was so beautiful that we couldn't resist playing in the backyard Friday evening:

Saturday was a busy day! I started the day at Pure Barre's Upper Body Intensive and it was ah-mazing:

Ed has been dying from allergies. Like, legit throwing up from coughing so much. So while I took the kids to the St. Patrick's Day Parade, he went to Quick Care. So fun, right?! Turns out his sinuses were so swollen from his allergies that he had a double ear infection on top of everything else! Poor guy got lots of meds to get better quickly.

I was running behind, but luckily Stevie saved a big part of the curb for all the kids. Parade weekend is usually the first noticeably hot day of the year and that it was. We baked in the sun while the kids waved to everyone that passed by and collected lots of candy. Ev freaked when she saw horses and everyone was excited to see the Star Wars characters. Besides the sunburn, it was a fun morning and we're so lucky we got to spend time with these lil' leprechauns:

After the parade, I headed back to PB to teach a full class and it was so much fun:

I came home to Ed painting the girls nails green and he even did a clear coat of glitter...I mean, he's the best, right?! These girls sure think so:

I got my seat kicked by Molly Sunday morning and we even matched:

While touring the Montessori school earlier this week, Tenley loved that the kids could garden. I promised her we could do some gardening at home so we spent our entire Sunday morning weeding the front and back yard, then planting some flowers and herbs. The kids had so much fun and I'm looking forward to watching them nurture their plants:

Until next week! :)
