Weekly Update

Tenley ate breakfast before the Robbins came over and refused to sit in her booster seat. So I packed it away and accepted that she is officially a "toddler":

She had a dance party to the "Blue Ribbon Bunny" episode of Sofia the First:

Tenley hinted to me that she wanted to go shopping:

We went to Run Plus Fun with Lindsay and Isla. Tenley kept going down the big slides, but would only go down the green one. She had a blast playing with Isla and even showed her some dance moves:

(Tenley totally has Beiber Fever and couldn't resist busting a move when she heard "That Power"!)

After Run Plus Fun, us girls went to Panera for lunch and on my way I couldn't get over how smokey the mountains were from the Carpenter 1 fire on Mt Charleston:
(Still praying for everyones safety and that it is completely out soon!)

We went to Town Square to play for a bit since the weather seemed to be a bit cooler. We just love the play area there. Tenley loves all the wooden play houses and had fun pretending she was selling us wooden cakes- YUM! She ran a muck and then made sure to feed the birdies some Wetzel's Pretzels before we left:

Ed went to the Robbins to help pack up their Uhaul for Denver while I stayed home and cried. Chelsea came over with the kids while the guys packed and it was an absolute sob fest. I couldn't even look at Chels without tearing up. She has become such a good friend of mine and we're always there for each other. Even if were complaining about thee most stupid thing, we're there to listen to each other. Our kids are best friends and Tenley gets so excited when she knows we're going to see her "buddies". Even our hubbies have became good friends. It just breaks my heart to know that we won't see them next week at least 4 times! After Chels and I cried and hugged it out, we got the kids together for a "goodbye" pic and none of them were having it. Tenley and Elle gave each other hugs and kisses as we sobbed:

(Miss you already, friends! Vegas will not be the same without you...)

Ed was off the next day and the weather was perfect- cloudy and drizzly! Our hillbilly of a daughter insisted on sitting outside in the rain, while I made breakfast for us to enjoy under the patio:

(Can you tell Ed was thrilled to have the day off? HA!)

We went to the Venturinos and Tenley was obsessed with Alena this time. She freaked out every time we attempted to take Alena from her. She just wanted to hold her and kiss her, but I had to steal her away for some snuggle time:

Tenley was so excited when she received 2 packages from Grammy and Pop-Pop. She got some princess panties, a shirt, a beach towel, but the very best things she received were all the old toys that were Eddie's and his cousins. She got 3 of Ed's teddy bears and a memory game and she also got a bunch of food toys that belonged to her Shuluga cousins. I love that we got all these family goodies:

While I had a coffee date with Courtney, Tenley stayed home with Daddy and enjoyed some more rain:

We met Lindsay and Isla at Hidden Halls Park:

Tenley had a quick mac n cheese fix at Panera:

We hung out with the Venturino girls and Alena just slept the entire time, per usual:

We tried this new indoor play business called Kids Play Cafe with the Rices and were totally bummed. First of all, it is right across the street from Run Plus Fun; which is the bees knees of indoor play and second of all, it was beyond dangerous for little kids! After paying we wished we went to Run Plus Fun instead. The slides were so fast that you had to be at the bottom to catch your kid so they didn't fly into a wall. Although we wouldn't recommend it, the girls had fun with each other:

After our afternoon of dangerous encounters, we went to the Rices for some Metro Pizza (our new fav now) and Nothing Bundt Cake. We had so much fun hanging out while the girls caused mischief and smothered each other with kisses:

Tenley helped Daddy make blueberry pancakes, until she spilled flour all over herself:

We made homemade sauce and meatballs for Spaghetti Sunday and our lil' Italian ate everything on her plate (except the bread):
(She also added the word 'meatball' to her vocab!)

Until next week! :)
