Weekly Update

While trying to get pregnant I prayed every night and specifically remember asking God to bless our family with another baby, while also asking Him to give us what we could handle. It took a long time after finding out that we were expecting twins to realize that this is God's plan for us. While at my friends who has twins I got a peek into what life would be like and I was terrified. Crystal is literally supermom. I told her how I worry that the twins will have Tenley's crazy personality and that I won't be able to handle it and she said, "I don't think God would do that to you. He'll give you balance." It totally put me at ease and just reminded me again that this is God's plan:

Tenley's hair is getting super long and we had fun giving her a mohawk in the tub:

I had my bi-weekly appointment with Dr. Adashek and my belly amazes me every time I look into the mirror. I still can't believe I have two lil' babes in there:
(22 weeks 3 days)

Everything went great at our appointment and we even registered at the hospital since Tenley was with her second "momma", Lindsay. Tenley obviously didn't miss us at all:

Tenley is officially 23 months old.
(I know, right?!)

Tenley practiced her balance on her turtle:

Recently, Tenley has been insisting on showering with me in the mornings because she loves to stick her head under the water. On Thursday morning I started the shower to warm up the water, while T and I made her bed. All of a sudden Tenley was M.I.A. and I ran around the house calling her name, then I came into my room and opened the shower curtain and saw this:

Tenley and Pur napped together:

We all FaceTimed with the whole Robbins crew and the kids kept saying, "show them this!" and "show them that!" It was cracking me up and really made me feel like they truly miss us. Seeing them smile makes me so happy inside:

Apparently my mother-in-law lives in a sweat shop because she is already almost done with Wes' baby blanket! She's been working on it for 3 hours every night...talk about made with love:

Tenley played in her bathroom cupboard:

We met up with the Venturino girls at the park by Grouchy John's so obviously I brought us coffee to ensure a perfect park date:

Tenley stole this little boy's trike and lovedddd it. She was actually even able to ride it. Guess we will have to get Tenley a pink one for her birthday:

My in-laws sent T and the babies a bunch of clothes and these are just a few of my favs:
(Thanks guys!!)

Tenley is obsessed with brushing her teeth, especially when she gets to brush them in the sink after bath time:

We went to Town Square Saturday morning to enjoy the beautiful day and shop. We even ran into the Espejos and the girls had fun running around at the playground, feeding the birds, throwing change into the water and holding hands in their strollers as we walked to the Halloween store where T picked out her costume all by herself- Doc Mcstuffins. It was a perfect morning and pooped us all out:
(23 weeks)

We were feeling extra lazy Sunday morning so we gave T a box and let her go to town on it with her crayons:

Once we got some energy, we started to put the bedding on the cribs (just have to figure out how to tie the bumpers on right):

Last year I didn't decorate for Halloween since T's Mickey Mouse birthday party was at the house so I was really excited about decorating this year! Here are a few of our Halloween decorations:

Next week is October; which means more hot (decaf) coffee, sweaters, scarves, Ugg boots, pumpkin patches, all things pumpkin flavored, Sofia's second birthday, visitors from Ohio, Tenley's second birthday, the twins shower and Halloween...so much to look forward to!!

Until next week! :)
