Tenley hung out with Nama; while Mommy went to the doctor for fetal monitoring:
Tenley and Grandma made homemade chocolate chip cookies together. Tenley loved playing with the flour and dumping in all the ingredients:
We did a little shopping at Target that night so Tenley could use her gift card that Uncle Mike sent her for Christmas. Tenley marched around the store, lined up all the Barbies (OCD freakkkk) and picked out this awesome Little People Klip Klop Stable and extra horses to klip klop around with (she is obsessed with all things Little People and they are taking over our house):
(Thanks Uncle Mike!!)
T napped so peacefully with Princess Teddy:
Our New Years Eve night consisted of putting the Klip Klop Stable together, check-ups at bath time and falling asleep before midnight, of course:
Happy New Year everyone!!
I can't really say I have a New Years "resolution" for 2014. My goal this year is just to survive the circus our life is about to become, be a good mom and not lose my shit with 3 babies! Easy enough, right?!
We spent New Years morning playing and shopping at Town Square:
Pushing all the big kids on the merry go round is hard work and really exhausted T. She passed out while snuggling up to her brother and sister. Even Ed got some snuggle time in:
Tenley spent the morning with Grammy, while I had my second fetal monitoring of the week:
(Ok, I know this isn't the best pic, but how much does Tenley look like her Grandma here? Total Grandma's girl...until Pop-Pop arrives!!)
I was having a wicked contraction while laying in bed and my belly looked like aliens took it over:
When Daddy got home from work, Tenley made him play with her Klip Klop Stable (such a good Daddy):
It had been awhile since we saw the Venturinos girls since they spent Christmas in Seattle, then Tenley was sick so we were excited to finally get together and exchange gifts. I also cuddled Alena to sleep while Karina rubbed my feet. It was a great start to our Friday:
(Thanks guys!!)
I'm officially full term with twins!!
Tenley was being such a goof troop while Ed dressed her to run some errands:
I turned 27 on Sunday and can't believe I'm 3 years away from being 30! Ed bought me the Platinum Keurig to help with the many sleepless nights ahead of me and my mother-in-law paid for the nail girl to come pamper me in the morning while her and Ed took T shopping at Toys R Us:
(How did I ever survive without this before? IT. IS. AWESOME.)
Tenley got lots of new princess accessories, but her favorite were her new Cinderella heels:
(Thanks Grammy!!)
Frannie came over to hang out and brought me some comfy PINK sweats; which are perfect for me since that's all I wear! (Thanks, Fran!) Then, my mother-in-law got us Ventano's take-out and Ed got me a red velvet Nothing Bundt Cake for dessert; which was delicious and my little bear tried eating all the frosting off the cake:
I got some pretty awesome birthday gifts, but the best gift of all was spending time with my family that I love so much. Thanks to everyone who reached out to wish me a Happy Birthday. I truly am one lucky girl!
Can you believe that my next blog will be about the birth of Wesley and Everly?!?! EEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Until next week! :)
