Weekly Update

The little kids played together nicely at their big sister's swim lessons before they all broke down from heat exhaustion:

After naps, Tenley dressed Ev up in the recital costume she didn't use and Evie looked like a little doll:

I caught the twins playing peek-a-boo through the fireplace glass and it was absolutely the cutest thing I've ever seen:

The turtles were going a bit cray cray at Tenley's swim lessons on Tuesday. They were all on their backs from trying to escape. Wes and Ev were hollering and trying to rescue them:

Tenley really blew us away on Tuesday as she swam back and forth without help from her teachers. She is such a little fish and is really good at keeping her head under water as she swims:

Wes was exhausted after swim and napped with all three "boo" bears:

Tenley worked on "diving" for toys at swim lessons, while the kiddos kept busy running back and forth between the turtles and swing set:

Tenley has really been missing school, especially her teacher- Miss Marsha. While doing laundry I found Tenley sitting in my room and she said, "I just at school learning letters for Miss Marsha":

Tenley woke up at 5:50am complaining of a belly ache. Naturally, my first thought was that she just had to poop, but she claimed she didn't. She didn't want to do anything other than lay on the couch; which is so unlike her so I was quite concerned. At 8:30am she started bossing around Ev and Wes, said she was feeling better, busted out a poop and was 100% a-okay so we hustled to swim!

Since we were a few minutes late to swim on Thursday, I made sure we were a few minutes early on Friday. The kids waited patiently for class to begin on the swing and then Tenley enjoyed her very last swim class:

I am so proud of how brave Tenley has been these past 5 weeks and I'm extremely proud of the progress she's made. It breaks my heart that class is over because Isla and Tenley really enjoyed swimming together. To celebrate how well they did these past few weeks, we took them to get some frozen yogurt:

The twins were exhausted and passed out by 10:30am. Wessie Boy looked so cute cuddled up to his Pooh Bears:

When the kids woke up from their naps they got the best surprise ever...Grammy & Pop Pop were here!! The kids had a dance party and had us cracking up...just a typical day with these three:

My in-laws also brought us some goodies, too- blueberry donuts from White House Fruit Farm:

My father-in-law also brought his mother's ring to pass down to Ed. It's such a stunning ring!! We've always planned on passing my wedding ring on to Tenley since she is the oldest girl in our family and now we will have a ring to pass down to Everly. It's quite perfect since Everly's middle name was given to her in remembrance of Grandma Helen Jean and my Grandma Betty Jean Elizabeth:

That night we went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner, then ended up at The District's splash pad where the kids had a blast getting soaked:

The kids caused trouble as they waited for Grammy and Pop Pop to come over Saturday morning:

We planned on spending the entire day at Cowabunga Bay, but it rained the entire day. We had a low-key morning and I enjoyed my blueberry donut and coffee on the patio with Ed while the kids napped:

Tenley and Wesley were being such hams as we got ready to go to the toy store with Grammy & Pop Pop:

Tenley has been FaceTiming Pop Pop practically everyday asking if he would take her to the toy store and buy her a doll. We are always so busy playing, going to parks, or trying to do new things when they are in town that we never get to do little things like this so Tenley was really looking forward to it. She made out with the Barbie doll she wanted, plus a Disgust and Aurora doll! Ev and Wes also got to pick out a toy, too:

Sunday was my niece's birthday party at Kidville. The kids had so much fun playing with play dough, doing crafts and running a muck in the exercise room. The party was perfect for the birthday Princess:

(Happy early birthday peanut! We love you!)

Tenley fell asleep as we pulled onto our street and woke up the moment we took her out of the car. The twins slept the whole drive home and transferred onto the bed as I quickly nursed them back to sleep. Then, I needed help out of the bed so Ed tried pulling me out of the pile of babies and started cracking up, thus waking up sweet angel face Evie:

Once Moose Man woke up, we met everyone at GVR and went swimming. While swimming like a fish Tenley decided she was going to learn how to dive into the pool! I was amazed and so, so proud. Then she decided to flip head first into the pool! Girlfriend is ballsy. She also learned how to do flips in the water. I swear, swimming is her thing. I can't forget dancing, though. When her and Wes hear a beat they have to bust a move:

Until next time! :)
