Monday started Spring Break for Tenley Bear and the kids were super lazy. Everly napped hard and looked oh so sweet while doing so:
The kiddos woke up in silly moods after naps/relaxation time:
Tenley colored this beautiful picture for her friend, Nora:
(She has yet to give it to her...she must be holding on to it for her birthday.)
Tenley played dress up with random accessories and kept talking about how she's "so fabulous!":
Ev didn't nap on Wednesday because she just wanted to cuddle with momma:
Tenley had basketball practice Wednesday evening and we had so much fun practicing and playing afterwards with our besties:
We dyed Easter eggs on Thursday and the kids were really into it. Well, Wes stuck to his 3 eggs (blue, green and pink). He kept putting them in the dye, taking them out, then yelling "more!!" A lot of eggs cracked in the process, but they did make some masterpieces:
Grammy and Pop Pop arrived Thursday night, but we didn't get to see them until Friday morning. The suspense was killing the kids! They were beyond excited and were so happy to see them! Tenley was thrilled that Grammy was there to do her make-up, while mommy was happy to get out and shake at Pure Barre:
I attempted naps on Friday, but seriously failed because the kids were on a major high after playing with Grammy and Pop Pop all morning. At least they were still full of smiles:
That evening we went to dinner with the fam at Town Square. The kids got to play with Grammy and Pop Pop after, then we all went to see 'Zootopia'. We all loved the movie, but Wessie especially enjoyed sitting next to his best pal, Pop Pop:
(Once Wes finished his first cup of popcorn he asked Pop Pop for more and Pop Pop told him no. Then Wessie said "Peassssssss!" and, of course, Pop Pop gave him another cup. Their bond is the cutest thing!)
Ev was so exhausted after the movie that she was sound asleep by the time we got home. Sweet girl let me change her and put her in bed all while she snored away:
We had the Bubble Run Satueday morning and the weather was so awful! We made the most out of the wind and powered through, though. Tenley wanted to run the whole time, while the twins only lasted in the wagon for a hot second. Although it was cold, the bubbles made it worth it for them:
After the Bubble Run we met the fam at 'Craft Kitchen' for a yummy breakfast:
Ev fell asleep in the car after breakfast so there went naps for the afternoon, but the kids were still happy because Grammy and Pop Pop were still here:
The kids were so excited to make Grammy's Italian meat pie and bunny bait with her, but I'm positive they didn't help her at all:
We had such a great Easter with our family! It was such a great day that Wes did NOT want Pop Pop to leave him. After bath time, Wes made Pop Pop read him stories, "cudder (cover)" him and give him a million kisses and hugs. It was the sweetest thing and Wes cried himself to sleep for about 40 minutes when Pop Pop left the room. Saying goodnight to your Pop Pop is tough work for a little dude:
Only one more day with Grammy and Pop Pop next week...until then!
