Little Evie migrated to our bed Monday morning and slept like she had no cares in the world:
After dropping Tenley off at school, the littles and I went to the park for over 2 hours. We had fun searching for bunnies and running a muck. It blew my mind how big my babies have gotten. We haven't been to this park in awhile and I was surprised at how they were climbing, swinging and spinning on everything. They are so big, but oh so fun:
Tenley learned all about the letter 'H' Monday morning. One of the girl's parents brought in a hive from home and the kids all got to try fresh local honey. From honey to horses, they covered it all:
Tuesday was the twins turn to learn about the letter 'H', while Tenley and I had a super busy morning ahead of us. We went to the park, spied on the new Chick-fil-a and did some shopping for our family pics while getting patriotic:
Ev must've been pooped from learning because I found her passed out in Wes' bed:
Rather than focusing on the election, we took the kids to The Fashion Show Mall so Tenley could use her Disney gift card from her birthday. Everyone ended up getting a toy(s), but Wes really made out and literally took his entire new superhero collection to bed with him because he's so obsessed:
The 'H' lessons continued and I loved that Tenley came home with a craft that included her handprints:
I've been dipping my toe into teaching at Pure Barre and Wednesday night I co-taught with Michelle. It was so much fun and each time I put on the mic I get more and more comfortable; which is so exciting:
I missed bedtime; which has been a real adjustment for me. I've been so lucky to always be apart of my kids entire day and it kills me to not be the last thing they see before closing their eyes for bed. I hate not being there to kiss them and wish them sweet dreams. Like, I said... a REAL adjustment. To ease my guilt Ed has been taking more pics of the kids and sent me this gem before putting T to bed:
I know I'm working hard to better our family AND myself, but the struggle is real. It's the little things that excite me and remind me that I'm doing something I'm passionate about. Like seeing my name on the Pure Barre schedule:
The twins did their handprint craft and were so excited about it. They couldn't stop saying, "whooooo!" and it was ridiculously cute:
Ed had his end-of-year Foreman meeting Thursday afternoon/evening so I planned a surprise play date with The Medranos. Since school started, Tenley and Addy haven't seen each other and had been begging for a play date. The kids were so excited to see each other. They played duck, duck, goose, tag, "trolls" and had a blast on the playground together:
After playing so hard at the park, the kids desperately needed a bubble bath:
Friday was Veteran's Day so no one had school or work. Since Chelsea was in town I took her to her very first Pure Barre class, then we had breakfast, went shopping and hung out with her momma. It was such a great morning and time with Chels is always amazing for my soul. She is my constant reminder to be better and I love her to pieces! This visit for Chelsea was "work" based unlike her last few visits so, of course, we had to book her ah-mazing talent. She made our family pics so much fun and I can not wait to see more:
The kids were so exhausted after that Wes fell asleep licking his sucker and I could not stop laughing at his little tongue sticking out while he was asleep:

On Saturday morning Ev was the only dancer for the first half of class, again, and was in her glory! She loves dance so much and just beams when she's in the room:
Tenley was so excited for class because they were going to start reading 'The Nutcracker'. She literally looks forward to this the entire year! To top it off, she was Line Leader:
While I was at dance with T, Ed sent me this pic of him and Ev (she showered with me before and refused to put on clothes after so I came home to her passed out naked on the couch with Pearl):
We took the kids to see 'Trolls' Saturday night and it was so much fun! We haven't been to Sunset Station's theatre in ages and were surprised to see massive recliners. The kids thought it was awesome and sat the entire time! Comfy/spacious seats and an adorable movie for the win:
Our Sunday was so relaxing and filled with quality time. The weather was gorgeous so we took the kids to Rachel's Kitchen for lunch and walked around after:
Once we got home, it was already time to start cooking dinner. We had Honey Baked Ham and made my gram's famous pierogies and I did not regret 1 single bite:
Until next time! :)
