Weekly Update

The weather was a bit chilly Monday morning so we spent the morning at Barnes & Noble reading books:

This week the kids are learning about the letter 'V' and Tenley brought home a 'V' bouquet of flowers:

That afternoon, Evie Cakes fell asleep while relaxing in T's bed and looked like an absolute angel:

Tenley asked me to go to Chick-fil-a Tuesday morning so we shared some nuggets and I watched her play before we headed to Michaels for buy some stuff to make jewelry:

The twins brought home their 'V' vases and a Cow Jumping Over The Moon:

On Wednesday, Cassi insisted I take the kids to the studio so I could take class while she hung out with the twins. Cassi took the kids to Starbucks and they had so much fun with her! After their coffee date, they came back to the studio and "helped" me practice:

(Thanks so much, Cassi!!)

Tenley had a great day at school and brought home several crafts:

That afternoon the twins gave me cuddles on the couch during relaxation time and I was in Heaven:

After some cuddles, we went to play outside and the kids spotted a lizard on the back wall:

Ev cracked me up when she broke out her inner hillbilly and posted up by the wall with a bowl of cottage cheese as she looked for lizards:

Tenley and I went to Fun Lane and had a blast playing together:

The twins did so good on their crafts at school on Thursday and Wes wouldn't stop telling/showing me how he learned how to close his eyes at school:

While Tenley was at school making masterpieces, Wes got his 879,685 hair cut while Ev dreamed of having rainbow hair. Then we went to Costco where the twins had everyone giggling as they played "crocodile arms" (when Ev wraps her arms around Wes' neck...they both find it utterly hilarious!!):

That afternoon, the kids and I painted pictures before I headed to work:

At work we celebrated the last day of our March Madness challenge with some champagne:

It's been breaking my heart that Ev hasn't been into dance recently. It's not that I want her to be a dancer, it's that I saw how much she loved it. She would beam and hang on Miss Cherity's every word so it broke my heart that it wasn't making her happy anymore. She woke up asking for ice cream Saturday morning and I told her if she stayed in the room the whole time she would get a bowl of ice cream. Apparently she just needed some motivation because girlfriend danced with a massive smile on her face the entire time:

After Ev's successful dance class, it was Tenley's turn...no bribes needed for that chick:

After dance, Evie painted then helped me clean up the house:

The kids showed Daddy extra lovins before bed Saturday night and melted my heart:

We took the kids to see 'Boss Baby' Sunday morning and they absolutely loved it:

We celebrated Isla's 5th birthday at Sport Social and to say it was fun would be a major understatement! The kids, especially Wes, had so much fun. Wes was truly in his element with all the scooters and bikes. The girls were just thrilled to be with their fav gals:

(Happy birthday, Isla!! We love you so, so much!!)

Until next time! :)
