Our first day of Spring Break started just as it should- L-A-Z-Y... PJs and board games all day:
Tuesday morning we went to Von's to pick out donuts for the park. The weather was beautiful and the kids enjoyed eating their donuts at the park:
Ev slept in Wednesday morning and looked like a little babe all curled up in her bed:
The kids favorite thing to do is to go outside in the morning and water the plants. Tenley is really focused on growing flowers, while the twins just like to run around barefoot:
We spent our morning enjoying the weather at the park. Wes brought super heroes and Ev carried around Tee-Tee's Skip-It as if it were a puppy (she even named her Crystal):
(That freshly cut and watered grass was the death of me.)
The kids woke up early Thursday and watered the flowers, per usual:
We met the Holmes crew at the park and the kids had an absolute blast playing with their buddies:
(Again, with the fresh cut and watered grass...)
That afternoon we got to work on planting our other Fairy Garden. Wes loved watching the soil absorb the water, Ev liked raking the soil and Tenley liked bossing everyone around:
We had popsicles outside and put the fairies in their gardens:
We met the Medranos at FLIPNOUT Xtreme and the kids were so excited to see each other. This place was so cool and absolutely exhausted the kids:
Ev could've played on this thing ALL day, if I let her:
Tenley was such a turd during Spring Break. She complained about eevveerryytthhiinngg! She was so bossy and sassy! It was rough, then she goes and hands me this picture and said, "I drew a picture of us to show you how sorry I am. Can you forgive me?":
Easter packages from Ohio were rolling in and the kids loved all the goodies:
(Thanks to everyone who thought of the kids! We love you!)
The kids wanted to take Pearl for a walk Saturday morning so we took a stroll and ended up walking to the park. It really was the perfect morning:
We dyed Easter Eggs Saturday afternoon and everyone was so into it this year:
We ended Spring Break by celebrating Easter with our friends! Although I loved getting in extra time with the kids this week, I am so ready to get back into our routine!
Until next time! :)
