We got the girl's dance pics in the mail and they came out so darn cute:
It FINALLY rained on Monday; which made it the best day ever! The girls were really scared of the thunder so they didn't want to play in the rain like Wes and I did:
Ev loves to help me cook and made some yummy green beans for dinner:
We went swimming at Amy's pool Tuesday morning and the kids had so much fun and keep amazing me with how well they swim:
It's been cloudy here so it's actually made being outside quite manageable. We played outside Wednesday morning and the kids found a baby lizard; which had them squealing with excitement:
I caught Tenley checking herself out after we did our grocery shopping and she looked like a teenager. She's going to be trouble:
We hit up The District Friday morning for some fun at the splash pad and lunch with the Rice crew:
When we got home we had a box at the door and Tenley was screaming because she's been waiting for her backpack and lunchbox. After weeks of looking, she finally picked one and girlfriend is not a fan of the standard shipping process. She ripped that box open and it exceeded her expectations. She is beyond excited for Kindergarten:
Ed had to work on Saturday so Amy took the kids to Starbucks and Target, while I got my LTB in. Of course, they had the best time with Auntie Amy:
I met the kids at Target and we did all of Tenley's school supply shopping because she literally couldn't wait anymore. I spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing and snuggling with the kids since I had to leave for a work trip for a day:
Later that afternoon, Cassi, Rach and I headed to Huntington Beach for Pure Empower training. The drive was super quick and we were there in no time. We wrapped up our day with dinner on the pier and it was amazing:
We woke up and headed to training Sunday morning and I don't even know how to describe the class other than intense. We weren't even 5 minutes in when my eyeballs were burning from sweat dripping into them. I was drenched so much that I had to change clothes after and I loved every freaking second of it:
Look out PBH, we have new accessories and we will be taking Lift, Tone, Burn to a whole new level:
Ed was trying to earn a gold medal while I was gone. He took the kids to see 'Despicable Me 3', went to the Comic Book store, pet store, got a haircut...I mean, I was only gone for 28 hours! Total Father of The Year! I hate leaving the kids, but I love when they get solo time with Ed because he is pretty great:
Ed texted me pictures of the kids while I was on my way home and it had me missing them something fierce:
The kids were asleep when I got home, but they left me flowers to show me how much they missed me:
It was a good, but exhausting week and I'm ready to take on another busy week!
Until next time! :)
