Tenley Bear is now 13 months old...
...baby girl has TEN teeth (two of which are molars) and has added a few words to her vocabulary, such as: no, book, dog, and "quack, quack" (although she only says them when she wants to say them, of course). She has been down to only 1 nap a day for about a month now and sleeps through the night, unless she is teething realllly bad; which happens to be a lot these days since she only has molars and canines left. She eats just about everything that I cook and will demand that we share any food that we are eating. She absolutely loves to dance, if music is on her legs automatically start moving and grooving- she has spunk. She loves to grab your hand and lead you to what she wants and most of the time she will be running to your destination. She really keeps Ed and I on our toes and constantly keeps us laughing. Each day is something new and exciting and we wouldn't have it any other way!
She is such a smarty pants that when I asked her to show me her favorite ornament she, obvi, showed me my Steelers snowman:
T went to the pediatrician on Tuesday for a follow up regarding her ER visit and the doc said she seemed to be doing much better. Her visit must've exhausted her because she fell asleep cuddled on Mommy's chest:
Pearl is starting to let Tenley get a little more touchy:
Tenley loves to show me the Christmas tree (and rearrange the bottom ornaments):
She also loves to prepare me "meals" in her kitchen:
She likes to climb on the couch and open the blinds for Pearl- teamwork:
Since I took off the ornaments on her Christmas tree she has started to decorate it with her toys:
T got dolled up to do some shopping...
...I couldn't help but notice the little neck she has developed since she has begun to thin out:
(My lil' babe is losing her chunky neck... the chunky neck that used to hold so much neck cheese when she was a baby... I'm going to miss that...)
T was bummed that Daddy had to work on Saturday so we had lots of picnics until he got home...
...Ed surprised me with these beautiful flowers when he got home:
(Thanks, Ed!! I love you!!)
We decided to take a little road trip to Mt Charleston to show Tenley some real snow and take some pictures of her for our Christmas card. When we asked Tenley if she wanted to go "Bye, Byes" Pearl jumped in the car and refused to get out so we decided to make a family event out of it and Tenley couldn't have been happier:
The snow ended up only being on the very tip of the mountain and we couldn't even get to it in our car so we were only able to look at it from a distance. We made the best of our mini road trip and stopped at one of the trails to enjoy the scenery:
We're looking forward to going back when there is some actual snow to build a snowman!
Until next week! :)
