Baby bear hung out with her doggie:
I made broccoli, rice, & cheese casserole and T loved it:
She wore her hat around the house again and was a total cheeseball:
On Wednesday, T and I shared some strawberry oatmeal... Shortly after, these bumps appeared on her wrists:
Being the worry wart that I am- I kinda freaked. Since Ed was allergic to strawberries as a baby I thought she might be having an allergic reaction to the artificial strawberries in the oatmeal, but wasn't sure since she had real strawberries and pureed strawberries before and never had a reaction. To play it safe, I took her to the pediatrician and he said she was either having a reaction to the oatmeal or she could have a bacterial infection from being in the bath tub too long. He gave her an antibiotic and said it should clear up quickly.
When I left the pediatrician's office I couldn't help but wonder if she was having a reaction due to taking bubble baths every night. Since it was a worry of mine I stopped giving her bubble baths and she has still been having fun in the tub without the bubbles (hopefully I didn't just jinx it).
When we got home from the doc T called Daddy at work to tell him that she was going to be okay:
Then she played with her latest obsession- Snoopy:
We got lots of rain this week and T liked to watch it out the back door...
...we even had a hail storm. Can you see the hail piled up at the bottom of the slide?
Tenley got into my purses and she has claimed this pink one as hers:
She entertained me by playing peek-a-boo with her bedroom door:
Tenley got Christmas presents in the mail from The Flautos and great Aunt Donna insisted that she opened them now:
She is absolutely in love with the snowman nightlight...
...she oohs and aahs every time it turns on:
(Thanks Aunt Donna, Uncle Chris, Gary and Jill)
Later that night we got boxes from Grandma and Grandpa D for Christmas as well. We put them under the tree to open on Christmas morning...
...the presents only lasted under the tree for a split second:
Tenley was in the holiday spirit on Sunday...
...so we made our first gingerbread house and Tenley helped out:
She was very excited about the outcome:
Later that day, The Espejos picked us up and we did our annual light-seeing extravaganza. We made our way to the closest Starbucks for hot chocolate then headed to Ethel M's cactus light garden:
I can't believe Tenley was walking around and looking at the lights with Grace this year. Last year she slept in her stroller the entire time. Next year little Charley will be running around with them, too.
After Ethel M's we went to check out the Christmas lights on our favorite street: Quiver Point (Google map Quiver Point and you will be able to get directions for it). If you've never checked it out... DO IT!
For having 3 babies in 1 car it went pretty seamless and both Espejo babies were passed out after Ethel M's, while Tenley got to see the rest of the lights in the neighborhoods we visited. I love seeing how differently everyone decorates their house, but it is a bad thing because now I have such a long list of things that Ed has to do to our house next year. Lights are crazy addicting!
It's finally beginning to feel like Christmas...
Until next time! :)
