Weekly Update

Tenley's hair is kind of growing and I was able to put her first set of pigtails on that adorable head of hers...

...until she quickly wasn't having it anymore:

Tenley hung out with Pearl:

I went to Babies R Us to use my rewards dollars and since all their potty gear was on sale I scooped up thee cutest Mickey and Minnie toilet that claps and says, "hip hip hooray!" when you flush it. I also picked her up a potty seat and step stool:

She obvi loved it right away and played with it the rest of the night:

Isn't she just the cutest? I could not stop taking pictures of her...she just loved her new potty and had so much fun with it. Fingers crossed that when the time comes we have a good potty-training experience!

I also got her some Minnie Mouse sippy cups to try to get her to drink from a sippy and it totally worked. Whether she actually drank or not is still debatable, but she sure acted like she loved her new sippy:

She cuddled with mommy...

...then got into Pearl's toys:

We went to the mall on Friday so I could buy Tenley some new outfits and jammies from The Gap, but Tenley had other plans. I could not contain her in her stroller so I let her walk around the store and she literally picked everything up within reach and threw it on the floor. A Gap employee trailed us and picked up after my tornado of a daughter. I was truly embarassed. I managed to snap this pic of my little shopper:

Needless to say, I gave up on shopping. I guess she will have to continue wearing Christmas PJs and I'll have to wait on buying her new clothes. Since her shoes were a lil' snug I decided to let her walk to find a new pair so she could get some of that crazy energy out:

All of the shopping really exhausted her because she fell asleep right when we got home:

Ed came down with a cough/cold on Friday so we hung out at home that night. Ed pulled it together on Saturday so we could take Tenley to see her first Disney on Ice show.

She was so pooped from the show that she passed out on our way to Egg Works on Sunday morning:

Egg Works is right by the airport and ever since we started going there Tenley has become obsessed with airplanes. She loves to point at them and say, "OOOOH!" We usually watch the planes from the Eggs Works parking lot cause they'll fly right over your head and it's so loud and amazing, but this time we went to the parking lot off of Sunset that is right next to the airport to watch all the planes come in:

After listening to the pilots on the radio for a little we got out so we could see the planes better:

I've been on a mission for a few weeks to find her a girly stuffed plane. I found a pink one on amazon, but it was like a bajillion dollars. If anyone knows where I could find something cool like that let me know- she'd love it!

We stopped at the park on the way home since it was such a nice day:

While Tenley passed out, Ed went to the Walgreens Take Care Clinic since he was still coughing pretty badly. Turned out that he had a upper respiratory infection and sinusitis.  Poor guy started taking antibiotics and began to take it easy.
