Bump Watch: 20 Weeks

How far along? 20 weeks 3 days...less than half way to go!!
Total weight gain: 25lbs.- 4 pounds more than when I was pregnant with Tenley! (Why I thought this was a good idea to include this in my first update is beyond me.)
Wedding rings on or off? On
Stretch marks? Not any new ones.
Maternity clothes?  Oh yeahhh.
Sleep: Totally worse now that I can feel exactly where they are. They are both transverse (meaning laying vertical with both of their heads on my right side) and Ev likes to stretch out around 2am. It totally feels like she has her hands on my right hip bone and feet on my left hip bone, just stretching her little bones (and mine) as far as she could. Lil' booger...Mommy needs rest, too!
Movement:  Definitely. According to the ultrasound tech, our babies are "on fire!"
Food cravings:  Nothing this week.
Symptoms:  Exhaustion and dry nose.
Anything making you queasy or sick:  Not this week.
Labor Signs:  None
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, but moody if I don't get some time to rest during the day.
Best moment this week:  When we went to our big ultrasound appointment; which included a visit from the Pediatric Cardiologist- Dr. Acherman (loved him, by the way). If you remember my last update, you'll recall that we were worried about lil' Wes' heart due to his SUA, but the doc said his heart and everything looked beautiful. Apparently Ev had calcium deposits in her heart at my 16 week check-up, but they never told us because they didn't want to put too much stress on me. Well, good news is that they dissolved and her heart looks perfect, too! That was the best appointment we've had thus far. I totally feel like I can breath now...definitely the best moment of the week!
Worst moment of the week: When I realized how pregnant I am; which was when Ed said, "yeah, you got really pregnant this week." Thanks, babe. 20 weeks feels like being 41 weeks pregnant with Tenley. It's now hard to get in and out of bed and just uncomfortable. Here's to hoping the other half of my pregnancy goes as fast as the first half!
Looking forward to:  Finishing the paint in the nursery!

Here are some pics of the little babes from our ultrasound...

Everly:

(This is my favorite picture so far! While getting the ultrasound the two kept pushing and shoving each other and we were laughing so hard. Poor Ev even got some kicks to the face!)

Wesley:

I'll keep ya posted! :)

  1. So happy that both babies are perfect. EVERYONE is pregnant right now, which is totally making me miss it. Absolutely not ready for another yet, though. Love the ultrasound pics <3
