After four weeks, Tenley is now in a completely different room- her "big girl room". Ed painted the walls a pretty blue, put up wainscoting, and put up new closet doors. While I did the easy work...shopping!! It took what seemed like forever, but it was definitely worth the wait:
It still needs a bit of work...such as, wall decor. I'm going to try to custom order her name in wooden letters that match her new bedding because that was my favorite thing about her nursery, but it doesn't match her new room. I'm also trying to find purple silhouette pictures of ballet shoes and dancers, since Tenley is a little dancing machine. Slowly, but surely it will be complete!
Tenley was so excited when we finally revealed her new room that she instantly crawled into bed and got in and out of the covers:
She slept so good the first night in her new room and woke up in such a great mood:
My baby is growing up wayyy too fast. I can't believe she is no longer in the room right next to me! Total Big Girl Status Alert. I'm really going to break down when we start to paint her old nursery. It's all becoming so real...we have a toddler with 2 little babies on the way! What have we gotten ourselves into?!
Someone slow down the time, PLEASE!!
