How far along? 28 weeks (29 weeks 2 days now that it took me forever to post this)
Total weight gain: Don't these surveys know that you're never supposed to ask a woman what she weighs?! Rudddde.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Stretch marks? Not any new ones.
Maternity clothes? Yes, but I think I've reached the point where it is OK to constantly wear yoga pants and my hubby's t-shirts. Basically, I'm turning into a slob kabob (and I'm not sorry about it).
Sleep: HA! The little sleep I do get is no where near enough, especially after the 8 times I get up to pee in the middle of the night. Not to mention the horrible restless leg syndrome that has me in tears almost every night because I'm so tired, but can't fall sleep because of my stupid legs.
Movement: I am convinced these kids are already MMA pros because I swear they can already spar like a mofo!
Food cravings: Strawberries with vanilla Greek yogurt and Honeycombs.
Symptoms: Dry nose, bloody nose, round ligament pain, shortness of breathe and the typical exhaustion from making humans like a boss.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope
Labor Signs: Just Braxton Hicks that literally stop me in my tracks and make me want to cry.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy
Best moment this week: Seeing the twins in 4D (pics below) and finally choosing a middle name for Evie. Ed thought her middle name would be Lynn after me since Wes' middle name is after him, but I didn't really like it. I thought the middle name of our next girl would be Marie after both of our mothers, but we weren't in love with how it sounded with Everly. I loved how Everly Rose sounded, but hated that it had no meaning to us. While talking to my dad about their names he suggested Jean in honor of my grandma Betty Jean Elizabeth Brooke. I was automatically sold since she was such a big part of my life and who I am today, but Ed wasn't too fond of it. While brainstorming when our families were in town, my mother-in-law told is that Ed's grandma Helen's middle name was Jean, as well. Once we heard that we knew her name would be Everly Jean after her two guardian angel great grandmothers.
Worst moment of the week: When I tried to be supermom and play in the foam pit at Tenley's gymnastics class and got stuck in the middle...totally lost all my super cool mom points with that stunt!
Looking forward to: Is it too soon to say that I'm looking forward holding my babies? Then, I'm really looking forward to not waddling when I walk.
Here are some pics of our 4D ultrasound at 28 weeks...enjoy!!
Little Miss Everly Jean being a total ham:
Ev even showed off her hair and long eyelashes; which the tech said is very rare to see:
Wesley Edward was being a shy little butt and hardly showed us anything:
Now that the babes are getting bigger it is extremely hard to get good pictures or even tell what you are looking at for that matter. In this picture, Everly's face (top left) is being covered by her bro's legs:
I'll keep you posted on their progress! :)
