I planned to take my glucose tolerance test while our families were in town so I could have an abundance of sitters on hand for the boring 2 hours that I slept waited to be done with the blood work at my docs:
(Good news...my sugar levels were normal!! I was really sweating all those Oreos I've been eating too so it was great news to me!)
While I was at the docs, our families took T to Hidden Falls Park to play for a bit:
That night, we went to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner and Tenley had fun messing with the people in the booth behind us:
Tenley got in some snuggle time with great Aunt Donna after dinner:
My mom has never had coffee before (crazy, right?!) so I obviously had to take her to my favorite coffee shop- Grouchy John's. Naturally, she loved it! After our morning coffee, we met Linds and Isla at the park across the street where the girls practically fell asleep from great Aunt Donna pushing them in the swings:
Everyone was pooped after the park so we went home and Tenley cuddled on the couch while watching movies on the iPad with Grandma:
We went to the Bellagio that night to see the Fall Conservatory; which was beautiful, as always:
(27 weeks 3 days)
After seeing the Fall Conservatory, we headed outside to see the fountains. Tenley was in awe of the Michael Jackson water show:
(Had to take a picture of Britney on the side of Planet Hollywood!!)
On our way home, Ed drove us past the ginormous ferris wheel on his job site:
I took my mom and Aunt Donna to my favorite breakfast spot Wednesday morning- Egg works. Then, we headed to Town Square to play and joined in on story time:
That night we all went to the pumpkin patch for one last time and Tenley wore her Tinkerbell dress-up outfit from Auntie Frannie. Tenley was scared of the slides this time so we stuck with the spinning ride, swings and games. Ed tried knocking down some milk cartons to win Tenley a blow-up hammer twice, but wasn't successful. Then, I tried and knocked them over on my very first try...totally earned some cool mommy points! It was a great last visit to the pumpkin patch:
We met my in-laws at the Forum Shops Thursday morning to buy the twins their hospital outfits. Tenley had a blast dragging Pop-Pop all over the place, while my mother-in-law and I did some shopping:
We celebrated Halloween at The District and had SO much fun!
For the past 3 days I was having horrible back-to-back Braxton Hicks contractions so we decided to take it easy all day on Friday so I could rest. We hung out at home and made homemade pasta and meatballs for dinner and had everyone over. Tenley kept giving her baby cousin check-ups on her cast and they had fun playing in Tenley's room and bouncing around in the twin's cribs:
Tenley practiced her 'cheese' face at bath time:
I hit the 28 week mark in my pregnancy...I just can't believe I'm already in the third trimester! Not too much longer to go!
We all met at 4D Baby for a ultrasound of the twins (pics of twins in link above):
Then, we headed to Town Square to play for a bit:
Then, it was time to say good bye to both of our families. It is always so sad to see them leave, but this time was even harder because Tenley had so much fun with everyone and I really enjoyed the help chasing Tenley around. I don't know how I'm going to get through the next few months without their help. I hope to see everyone very soon because we miss each and every one of them horribly. Thanks for making this trip sooo much fun!! We love you all!!
After our busy week with family, we were extra lazy Sunday morning:
T put together her new Doc McStuffins hop scotch mat:
Until next week! :)
