The littles played on Tenley's old play mat and showed off their big blue eyes:
I tired the babies out on the play mat and got some good cuddles after:
Goofball Tenley must've thought I needed to do my hair 'cause she took it upon herself to give me a stylish do:
My sweet Evie Cakes is taking ranks as the "sound sleeper" around here; which makes me totally jealous:
The twins turned 3 weeks old on Wednesday!! I can not believe it. They are just thee cutest little twins:
(Thanks for the adorable sleepers, Amy!)
Evie made kissy faces at me while we cuddled:
(Can't you just kiss those lips all day?!)
My awesome mother-in-law has always been dumbfounded that Ed and I always mix everything by hand. Being the sweet and amazing person that she is she sent me a KitchenAid mixer. For no reason, too. She is too good to me. I can't wait to cook with this green machine:
(Thanks, Mom!! Love you!!)
We all participated in giving the twins a bath Wednesday night:
Wes kept peeing on his umbilical cord and I was beginning to think that it was going to stick around forever, but luckily it finally fell off:
Tenley loved on brother and helped feed him:
Linds, Sandi and Isla came over to visit Thursday morning. Isla was very interested in Wes this time since her Grammy was paying him attention. She even wanted to hold him and was so sweet to him (after all it is her future hubby!). Sandi got the twins the cutest Adidas track suits and I can not wait for the twins to wear them:
(Thanks for the outfits and books, Sandi!)
Tenley helped me cook dinner, took a nice bath and helped give the twins a bath while Ed was at school Thursday night:
My favorite thing about tandem nursing the twins is when they stare at each other while nursing and the cuddles after:
Tenley Bear figured out how to climb the half wall in our den and was very proud of herself:
Ed brought me home these beautiful roses after work on Friday and I was so giddy that he gave them to me "just because":
(You're the best, Ed!! Love you!!)
We made pancakes for breakfast Saturday morning and ate them at Tenley's table:
My lil' babes are so sweet and cuddly. They love to be cuddled by Mommy:
Wes and Ev played for a long time and worked on their neck strength:
Daddy gave Tenley her very first Dorito and she loved it:
Tenley gave brother squishy kisses:
Tenley helped Daddy make french toast for breakfast on Sunday:
We attempted to get a picture of all three kiddos for Valentine's Day, but it ended up being a total shit storm. Although the kids were miserable, it was hilarious and we will definitely look back at these pictures in 15 years and pee our pants:
(Stay tuned for their Valentine's Day card from Rice + Rye.)
Everyone was pooped after that photo disaster:
Ed used our new mixer to make Banana Creme Pie and I made cheesecake filled strawberry bites. We picked up some Metro Pizza, then headed to the Rices to watch the Superbowl. Since the game was beyond lame, we kept ourselves busy by eating massive amounts of everything while the girls had a blast entertaining themselves and dancing to Bruno Mars:
Until next week! :)
