Weekly Update

Ed was off on Monday for Memorial Day; which was perfect because he got to spend the morning with his parents before they flew home. The kids woke up in great moods and were looking super cute in their patriotic attire:

My father-in-law was extremely jealous that Ed and I went on the High Roller Sunday night so we decided we'd all go that morning before they had to leave for the airport. Tenley was so excited to ride the "ferdis wheel" that she could not stop smiling all morning:

When we got to The Linq she kept putting her hand in the air and yelling, "WEEEEEEE!!":

I've never seen a kid more excited for the whole ticketing process- she loved it all. She really loved when we hopped onto our cabin and saw all of the glass. She stood right next to it and looked out at all of the surroundings- this chick has no fears. The babies woke up just as the rotation began and the girls were excited to get them in on all the action:

I'm so glad we made this memory together, plus my father-in-law was on cloud nine the entire time. Like always, we had a fabulous visit with my in-laws and will miss them horribly (except now that Pop-Pop's girl is a Chatty Cathy we won't stop hearing about how she misses him, wants to watch a movie with him and wants to poop on the potty to make him proud). Let the count down to August begin!
(Love you both!)

Evie has been rolling from back to front for a few days now and we always miss it (middle child syndrome) so we started calling her 'the phantom'. Well, after both twins took a glorious 2 and a half hour nap Evie Cakes woke up in the mood to chat AND finally showed me how she rolls:

My girls woke up early Tuesday morning and had a starring contest, until Evie decided she was over it and rolled away, far away:

Linds and Isla came over and the girls had fun hopping on T's Doc puzzle, while Ev napped peacefully in her crib and Wes hung out:

The twins skipped naps that afternoon in lieu of their jumpers and play mat:

Ev slept super late Wednesday morning so Tenley and I read to Wesley (and all of T's stuffed friends):

The twins are teething really bad and constantly biting on their fingers/hands so I gave them some frozen teethers and they loved them. Unfortunately, all of a sudden Tenley thinks she is teething, even though she has all of her teeth:

The babies were so cranky that I had to give them some Hyland's Teething Tablets and as soon as it kicked in they were down for the count:

Hillbilly Ev sat at the dinner table with her leg propped up:

Wessie Boy practiced standing in his jumper, while Evie sat back and looked pretty:

Cakes laid in sisters bean bag chair:

Tenley loved on baby sister:

The Venturino girls came over for breakfast and we all had so much fun. The girls kept each other busy stacking blocks, snacking, playing dress-up, dancing, etc. while Karina and I laughed so much together. I just love these girls:

(Alena kept poking the babies faces so Tenley started to freak out every time Alena got near them- she was being so protective. It was so cute!)

The babes played on their mat Friday morning and Tenley put her sunglasses on the babies:

The twins were smiley after nap time:

We had our second (and last) joint yard sale. I headed over to Mason's Mom's house to set up while the kids slept. Once everyone woke up, Ed got them ready to come help:

We didn't get the traffic we expected so we ended up donating most of our stuff to Goodwill. At least we made a few bucks while having a good time with our best friends:

We went to Town Square to play and feed the birdies:

Evie ate her toes during bath time:

The twins were roughhousing Sunday morning:

While Ed cleaned my car, Tenley and I played with chalk and wrote a note on the side walk for the visitors were expecting this week (eeeeek!! So excited!!):

The twins are trying so hard to crawl, but Ev is so, so close!! She can kind of army crawl a little bit already, check it out:

While Moose Man napped Tenley had fun with baby sis. Now that she sees them trying to crawl, she is constantly yelling, "crawl!" and when we're holding them she'll say, "pudda dow! Walk, baby!" She is going to have these babies running in no time:

Until next time! :)
