Weekly Update

There's nothing cuter than a giggling baby. Wait, yes there is...two giggling babies:

Since the kids were exhausted, we had a relaxing morning/afternoon coloring, reading books and shopping at the mall with the fam:

Tenley and Wes woke up super early Tuesday morning and had a dance party to 'Let it Go':

Grandma Cath, Great Grammy So-Vay, Aunt Jewie and Rachie checked out of their hotel and came over to spend their last few hours with us. Grammy read Tenley lots of books, while Evie sadly observed her family before she had to say goodbye:

We had such an amazing visit with my family that it was so hard to say goodbye to them. It melted my heart to see how overjoyed Tenley was every time she saw them, to hear her sweet little voice say their names in her own way, to hear her gasp with excitement every time they'd tell her something and hear her giggle when they'd play. We're just really going to miss seeing those connections everyday. We really hope they come back  to visit soon because we miss them like crazy already!
(Love you guys!!)

Wednesday was Ev's turn to wake up early and she bounced around so much in her bouncer that she passed out in my arms:

After Ev went down for an early nap, Wes and Tenley woke up (it's never ending around here):

Finally, everyone was up at the same time...the twins practiced sitting up, worked on their sharing skills and played so nicely together:

Tenley and I played outside while the twins took a nap:

Moose Man took and early nap in my arms Thursday morning while Evie Cakes smiled away at us:

Little Evie looked absolutely adorable as she hung out in her crib:

Tenley is obsessed with the movie 'Epic' and loves the music that plays during the movies main menu. She makes me play the main menu ALL DAY so she can showcase her epic dance moves:

All of the dancing really tires her out:

Wes was even exhausted just from watching all that jumping up and down:

The twins have been extremely interested in our food recently. Since I made tacos for dinner, I decided to smash up my avocado and let them chomp on a little bit. Ev wasn't a fan and Wes didn't really know what to think of it:

Ed had to work on Saturday so Wes thought he'd settle the score by also making me wake up at 4:30am (YAY!!):

We spent Saturday morning hanging out with the Venturino girls; which really exhausted the twins:

After the twins' exhaustion wore off they were extremely cranky so I resorted to the ergo until they both passed back out:

Ed and I were both exhausted from our busy week with our family and his busy work schedule so for Father's Day the only thing he wanted to do was RELAX. Ed hates gifts, but I wanted to surprise him with something from the kids that would make him think of them while he's away from them. He drinks 22oz. of iced coffee every morning and I figured it would be perfect if he had a coffee mug from the kids so I started to look for custom mugs and found this girl on Instagram who makes custom tumblers (@twinkletwinklelittlejar) and I had her design this one for Ed:

It turned out perfectly and I love getting his coffee ready for him everyday! After he filled up on coffee, he played Princesses with his biggest little Princess:

He put our big boy down for an early nap:

We're such busy bodies that we were tired of "relaxing" by 11am and had to get out of the house, so we headed to Reunion Trails for some fun at the splash pad:

Tenley helped make Daddy lunch when we got home from the park:

Ed got a well deserved nap with Tenley Bear:

After naps, we cooked out and just enjoyed our time together as a family. I'm very lucky to have a father in my life, an amazing father-in-law who has always loved me as if I were his own daughter and a husband that is the greatest father to our children. He works so hard everyday, then comes home and loves on us so much...I really don't know how he has the energy (it must be all the coffee because he does it so well). I don't know what I did to deserve such an amazing man in my life, but I thank God for him everyday. You're the best, Ed. We love you more than Blue Bell Butter Crunch and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream combined (that's way more than to the moon and back)!!

Happy Father's Day to all the amazing Daddios out there!!

Until next week! :)
