We all slept pretty good after being in Ohio for so long and when Tenley woke up she was instantly glued to her best bud, Pearl:
After her snuggle sesh with Pearl she got herself ready to play outside and totally looked like a teenager:
The kids had fun playing on their swing set and in their swimming pool:
Wes showed off his insanely adorable smile and super strength by showing me how well he gets up on all fours (I'm telling you this boy is going to be crawling soon):
All of that exercise really tired him out because he fell asleep laying in his boppy:
Tenley and I cuddled Evie or "Iggy" as she calls her while Wes slept:
Wes tried crawling, but couldn't manage to pull his chubby body along:
Ev woke up really early on Thursday and wasn't very happy so Tenley tried to entertain her, but the only thing that made her happy was being close to mommy:
Wes and Ev played together so nicely for a change and Wes even took a little break on sissy's tush:
Wes and Ev have become obsessed with the phone in Tenley's kitchen. Wes was hogging it, but Evie surprised us all and made a run or should I say crawl for it as soon as she saw that no one was playing with it:
(07-17-14)
Since we've been crazy, super busy we haven't seen Linds and Isla for what seems like FOREVER so Tenley and I sent them a video:
I swear Ev changed over night because she looks totally different:
The kids skipped their morning nap so we had a lazy morning on the couch full of cuddles and giggles:
The twins were sleepy from skipping their morning naps and slept like angels that afternoon:
Linds and Brit watched all three of the kiddos while Ed and I went to his Local 88 Sheet Metal Graduation Ceremony. It was so nice to celebrate my man's accomplishments. The speaker had everyone in the room stand, then turn and face each other and thank one another because "none of us would be here without the other" (which totally made me feel special even though this was about Ed):
After 5 years of schooling, Ed is now a Journeyman! Woo-hoo! It was so nice to be able to hear his name called to accept his certificates and be sworn into the Union:
I can't even express how proud of Ed I am. He loves his job so much and is such a hard worker that I know this is just the beginning for him! Love you, babe:
Despite Wes not taking his bottle, the kids were in great hands with Linds and Brit:
(Thanks so much for taking such great care of our babies girls!!)
The twins were oh so adorable as they played in the living room Saturday morning:
We ran some errands and we can never get out of Babies R Us without Tenley riding the Sesame Street car:
After putting the kids down for naps, I went to The Pond at Green Valley Ranch for Matt's 30th Birthday Bash:
(Happy birthday, Matt!!)
Later that day, we met the Rices at Hidden Falls Park:
I got the girls ready to head to Town Square and they looked adorable in their matching pink headbands:
It was a scorcher so we couldn't stay too long, but we still had fun:
I made the babies homemade squash, but, as usual, they weren't too enthused:
Wes is sitting up so nicely on his own:
Until next week! :)
