Tenley started her second week of swim lessons and according to her she "nailed it!" Her and Isla are blowing bubbles, going under and kicking like little mermaids:
We had some rain Monday evening and the kids enjoyed watching it pour out the front window until the "real twins", T and Wes, decided it'd be much more fun to lay on the couch and kick the blinds (Wes is all about 'monkey see, monkey do...):
I could not get the twins to nap after Tenley's swim class on Tuesday. Eventually Wes ended up falling asleep in his crib, while Ev made me work for it. Thankfully Ev slept really long and Moosey Man woke up in the sweetest mood:
(Ok, how much does this look like Ray?! I just see my Ray in Wes' crib. What are you doing in Wes' crib Uncle Ray?!) Creepy.)
My littlest babes woke up as 18 month olds on Wednesday (say it ain't so!!) and were just the sweetest as they loved on each other before leaving the house:
The twins discovered the stairs to the slide at swim lessons and the rest was history. Wes was a hot mess and Ev had a complete melt down; which led two exhausted babies who were down for the count by 10am:
Tenley had practice for her dance recital that afternoon and she did great:
We celebrated Everly & Wesley's 18 month birthday that evening with some ice cream cones outside:
The turtles were out on Thursday morning and the twins were so excited that they sat by them the entire time:
Ev took a short nap that afternoon and was ready to play, but Wes was knocked out and looking sweeter than ever:
(Alright, how old does she look here?? Cool it, Ev.)
Tenley did great at swim on Friday, while Wes ruled the slide and the twins prepared themselves for a 3 hour long cuddle sesh that just melted me:
Tenley got a new headband from our friend, Veronica, at Shelby Chic Boutique and she wanted to wear it right away:
The girls had dress rehearsal at Cashman Theatre Friday night and looked beyond adorable:
I went to Francesca and Matt's beautiful baby shower Saturday afternoon and everything was perfect! Can you believe that sweet baby Amelia will be here in under a month?! I had so much fun celebrating the parents-to-be:
(Love you guys and can't wait to meet baby Amelia!!)
Tenley had her first dance recital Saturday evening and did great!!
Ev and Wes were so exhausted from the night before that they were napping by 10am on Sunday:
After nap time, the girls were putting on jewelry and Wes was a little confused as to how he should dress:
What an extremely busy, but great week!!
Until next time! :)
