Pearl was beginning to smell like a garbage can so the kids and I gave her a bath. The girls had so much fun, but Wes, the germaphobe (I have no idea where he gets that from...) wouldn't get anywhere near Pearl:
The kids and I took some silly selfies:
We made a last minute decision Monday night to change the babies cribs to toddler beds and everyone was so excited about the twin's new "big kid" room:
The twins loved their beds! They both climbed right in and pulled the covers on themselves. Ev had a smile on her face that went from ear to ear and they both giggled as we sang them a lullaby. When we said goodnight and shut the door Wes cried for a few minutes, but went to bed and we didn't hear any noises until Wes woke up at 6:30am and Ev shortly after at 7am. When Tenley woke up at 8am she wanted to know how they did and brought everyone back in to discuss the night and gave me a big thumbs up:
We spent the morning playing at the Venturinos. The kids had fun, per usual, and Karina looked beautiful as she reached her millstone of 27 weeks:
Karina gave Tenley some beads while we were at her house and Tenley was so excited about making her very own bracelet. She made a beautiful bracelet after dinner that night and couldn't wait to send Sofia a picture of her new creation:
We met the Rice gals at the park Wednesday morning. The sky was full of rain clouds so we thought it would be perfect to play outside, but we ended up getting rained out:
Since our park date was cut short, we went to our house to play for a bit. Sailor is sitting up and crawling around and the kids are obsessed with her! Who needs toys when you have Sailor:
Tenley's hair was extra curly when she woke up Thursday morning and she looked so beautiful:
While the babes napped, Tenley and I snuggled on the couch and she was lovin' on me something fierce:
The kids got up super duper early Friday morning so we went outside to play and eat our after-breakfast-snack (since my kids get hungry 5 minutes after they eat) :
Once it started to get hot we came inside and Ev and Wes refused to take of their awesome new Freshly Picked shoes (that I won, by the way...woo-hoo!!) while they finished up their apples:
While the twins finished their apples Tenley played with her new My Little Pony stickers:
The twins continued to do great in their "big kid" beds Saturday morning:
They chomped on their favorite snack (an apple a day...) while Ed and I worked out:
Ed and I took the kids to some vintage shops Saturday morning to look for an antique bed for Tenley, but we didn't have any luck. When we got home crazy T bolted out of the car and wanted to play, but the twins were over it and just wanted to go in to nap:
Later that day we went to RC Willey to look for beds and didn't have any luck there either, but Tenley sure loved the "princess fountain":
We had a low-key Sunday since it was a "school night". Ahhhhh!! I can't even tell you how excited we all are for this!! We spent the day playing inside and being lazy:
See ya next week for T's first week of school and dance!! :)
