Tenley learned about the letter 'X' at school on Monday and drew a lovely X-ray:
Ev was still a little cray-cray Monday morning and I thank the sweet Lord for my sweet little boy. He napped the afternoon away, while Ev eventually passed out on the couch around 4pm:
Wes wakes up every morning between 5 and 6 o'clock...he wakes up, turns on the light and starts yelling for me. Ev usually gets woken up by her bro, but sassy pants must've been extra tired because nothing phased her Tuesday morning:
The Venturino gals came over for some fun in the sun:
I thought the kids would be exhausted from being outside all morning, but the girls were more interested in watching videos on how to paint their nails:
I snuck away Tuesday evening for my daily therapy session at Pure Barre:
Evie stole my protein shake Wednesday morning and absolutely loved it:
While getting ready to take Tenley to school, I put on these new (smaller) Lululemon crops that Ed bought me and I couldn't believe that I'm already down a size since starting Pure Barre on March 15th:
Ed knows that Lululemon is the way to my heart and this meme couldn't be any more perfect for Lulu fanatics:
After dropping Tenley off at school, I took the twins to the park:
Tenley has been asking to bring Pearl to school since her teacher, Miss Linda, loves dogs, so the twins and I picked up Pearl before picking T up:
Tenley was so glad we brought Pearl to pick her up and she was so excited to show me the number puzzle she completed:
After our morning at the park, the twins napped so good together:
While they napped and T "relaxed", I fueled up on my favorite type of salad- taco salad:
My early riser woke me up at 4:30am. He was a little crabby and just wanted to cuddle on the couch; which was doable since everyone else was still sleeping, like normal people:
Tenley begged me to take them to Fun Lane Indoor Play Thursday morning and although I was exhausted I took them. We love that place and always have so much fun there:
The weather has been completely bipolar. One day there isn't a cloud in sight, then the next day it's pouring non-stop. It poured the entire time I was at barre Thursday night; which made it so much more relaxing. I came across some serious flooding on my drive home:
Wes woke up crying at 1am and wanted to go in the living room. Ed and I weren't having that so he weaseled his way into our bed and ended up sleeping until 7:30am! Say what?! I will absolutely let him do that every night if it means we can all sleep in:
Tenley learned about the life cycle of a butterfly on Friday and asked for her craft to be hung on our back door:
Wes made his way into our room again so we all slept through our alarm for T's basketball game. We still managed to make it in time; which worked out since a lot of our team was out. Tenley, Isla and Olivia played the entire game and we were so proud of them for sticking it out:
(She is a total mini-me!)
We had time to kill before dance class so we took the kids to breakfast at Rachel's Kitchen. Tenley was stoked about her Turkey Club that was bigger than her head:
Tenley got her recital costume Saturday morning and they all looked like angels. They practiced their routine in their costumes and did so well. I only got to tape their final run through; which wasn't as good as the first few times, but it was still super cute:
The twins were exhausted after our busy morning:
I started my Sunday at Pure Barre and was so excited I broke my calorie record:
Ed is working on a new project and went to Home Depot for a few hours. While he was stocking up on wood, I was trying to tame the kids because they were so excited about Charley's birthday party at the park:
We were at the park for 2 and a half hours and I truly think the kids could've played ALL day, if we let them. The kids went down the slides a million times and bounced in the bounce house like a bunch of crazies. Even Wes was climbing up the blow up slide and going down all by himself. These kids are all growing too fast and I can't believe Charley is already 4! We had so much fun celebrating Char's birthday:
(Happy Birthday, Charley!!)
I can't even begin to tell you how grateful I am that this week was a million times better than last week. Here's to hoping next week is just as good!
