Weekly Update

Ev is just like Tenley these days- strong willed, super girly and so freakin' silly. Both girls have to pick out their outfits each morning and pick out their accessories, too. Ev has to have everything her way and I always give in because I don't like when she yells at me. If shoes that are 3 sizes too big make her happy, then so be it:

Ed took Tenley to school while I went and got my sweat on at Pure Barre:

I picked up the kids after Barre and took them to the park so Ed could work on our dining room table in peace. The weather was beautiful and the kids enjoyed their quick trip to the park before we picked up Tee-Tee:

Tenley is reviewing letters 'W', 'X' and 'Y' this week:

The kids ate ham and pierogies for lunch and the way Wes says "pieorgies" is by far the cutest thing (wait 'til the end of the video for the cutest one!):

I swear in another life I was Bakerella because I love to bake and friends tell me that I'm pretty good at it. I baked chocolate chip cookies for the Medranos for being so sweet and taking T to school the other week and I also baked Courtney's favorite cookies to celebrate the birth of little Perry Lou. It was pure torture to bake those and not eat any, especially since the chocolate was so gooey:

I got to snuggle the newest Espejo addition and boy, is she so stinkin' sweet. I held her for a few hours and didn't want to put her down:

(Congrats guys!! She is SO perfect!!)

Ev was jealous I got to snuggle a baby, so she played mommy to two of her littlest babies:

After painting the table legs until 11pm with Ed, watching some TV and going to bed after 12:30am, we had an intruder in our bed at 1am. Ev was wide awake and giggling away in our bed. Every time I started to get frustrated she would give me the sweetest kiss on the lips and I couldn't help but smile. She finally fell back to sleep after 5am, but then it was time for brother to wake up while she got to sleep in like a Princess:

Although I was exhausted I still made it to Pure Barre, picked up Tenley from school and then went to August's 5th birthday party at the park with the kiddos:

Ev was super excited about the party since her boyfriend was going to be there. Her and Cam are such little flirts. I swear he is always chasing her around while she giggles:

I made out after the party because for the first time in weeks, the twins napped at the same time:

The kids have been looking really big to me lately; which just breaks my heart. To make it worse, Tenley started coming out of her room on her own in the morning. No more calling me for a hug before getting out of bed, big girl just walks out of her room, goes potty, washes her hands and snuggles her buddy Pearl:

(She was telling me how she wanted to paint Pearl's nails pink.)

I finally made the board at Pure Barre; which made me so excited as I countdown my classes until I reach the Founding 50:

Just a reminder for myself to never go to the bathroom when Ed isn't home:

We removed our old dining room table on Thursday so we could get ready to bring in our new one and the kids loved having extra space to dance:

Daddy was back to work Friday morning, so the twins and I ran errands Friday morning. It was so weird to go out with them without their stroller. They walked around the store by themselves, which was a disaster because I couldn't even look at what I went there for because I was too worried about someone grabbing one (or both) since they tend to run in different directions. Even though they were all over (and so was I), it was so cute watching them explore together:

Thank God for Costco's double seats because it made tackling Costco a lot easier:

When Tenley got home from school she showed me some of the songs she'll be singing in her preschool program. Although I didn't tape the cutest one with sign language, I did tape a pretty cute one and Ev shows off her moves, too:

Wes was a truly 'Good Sport' as he was the only one to nap for me Friday afternoon:

The kids and Daddy assembled our new table while I was at Pure Barre and it turned out even more perfect than I had imagined. Ed worked on this baby for almost 2 weeks straight. He is such a perfectionist and it is beyond beautiful. It is something I will always cherish and I can't wait for all the new memories around this table:

(Thanks SO much, Ed!! I love you so much!!)

Ed had to work on Saturday so I was on my own with the kids at T's game. I ended up playing outside with the kids most of the game, but managed to see a few of Tenley's plays:

(Seeing them by these lockers made me picture them running through the halls at school together.)

I resorted to the iPad and suckers during T's dance class to keep the kids in one spot:

Thanks to candy, basketball, grocery shopping and dance class wasn't too bad:

The kids love the new table Daddy built and love to sit at it while I cook:

(Seriously so obsessed with it!!)

It was another afternoon of avoiding naps, but Wes finally fell asleep on me just as Ed was getting home from work. He was dead to the world and didn't even wake up when his sissy gave him a check-up and lots of kisses:

I met Linds at Pure Barre Sunday morning where we spent the whole time shaking:

When I got home we broke out the water toys and planted my Mother's Day flowers from Tenley:

We had a great week and I can't believe that next week is Tenley's last full week of school! So happy summer is upon us!

Until next time! :)
