Weekly Update

The Venturino crew came over Monday morning and Karina and I actually got to catch up! We laughed so hard that I had a permanent smile the rest of the day and the kids had so much fun playing dress up with their pals:

I've been preparing non-stop for my Pure Empower test out video so we had a low-key Tuesday. While I studied on the couch, Tenley cuddled with Pearl and looked like a teenager:

Alex turned 8 on Wednesday and Tenley wanted to bake her a cake (how sweet is she?!). We woke up early Wednesday morning and started baking right away. Tenley baked a funfetti cake and decorated it beautifully:

Alex was so surprised and we had a great morning celebrating the big birthday girl:

(Happy birthday, Al!! We're so happy we finally get to celebrate you in person!!)

Thursday was another lazy day as I studied, but we did manage to pay Freeze Dance to the new Descendants 2 soundtrack for hours:

Ed did me a solid and took all the kids grocery shopping Thursday evening. Popcorn is their favorite and they convinced Daddy to buy them a bag of popcorn that was almost as big as Evie:

I spent all day Friday studying and filmed my test out video at 7am on Saturday. It went great and everyone said it was amazing! Ed brought the kids to Pure Barre because he had to work again (3 Saturdays in a row!), then I took the kids right to Amelia's adorable two-ti fruity birthday party at the park:

(Happy birthday, sweet Amelia!!)

Wes has been waiting for the Marvel show for weeks! We were so excited to go Saturday afternoon and it did not disappoint. Ed got us seats in row F and said he didn't think they'd be that great since it cost about the same as when we go to the movies, but the seats were great! The kids were in awe and had the best time:

You know those rare days, when you go to bed and think 'that was a great day!' This day was one of them! We even had the best bedtime tickle fights and sweetest prayers (in their best 'Dr. Strange' position):

I taught class Sunday morning, took Rachel's class, then took Cassi's practice Empower class and left feeling like a million bucks:

When I got home Tenley gave me a piece of paper and told me it said, "You're a hard working mom. I love you and miss you while you're gone." and I melted:

That night I went out with the girls for Karina's birthday and while getting ready Tenley insisted I let her put on makeup, too:

Karina loves Stebello so we went there and she picked everything that we ate and everything was delicious, but the Nutella pizza was divine! We ate, drank and laughed our faces off:

(Happy birthday, Karina!! I'm blessed to call you my friend! Love you!)

To cap it off, we ended the night grocery shopping at whole Foods (because that's apparently what 30+ year olds do). I accidentally knocked over a stand and couldn't stop giggling like a high school girl who just got in trouble for laughing in class:

Ugly crying/laughing faces are the best no matter how many double chins they give you! #YOLO

Until next time! :)
