Tenley and I started the week off with some fun in the sun:
Since it was such a beautiful day, we went for a walk when Ed got home and we stopped at the gas station to get Tenley her first cherry slurpee...
...then we decided to play in the backyard some more to get all that sugar out of her system and she, of course, spotted the planes while swinging with Daddy:
(Girl is OBSESSED with planes.)
The weather continued to be beautiful so we went to the park to play for a bit...
...Tenley's BFF, Sofia, stopped by to play:
...then my little chick was down for the count:
Tenley and I went for a walk and T even helped me hold Pearl's leash...
(It is unreal how much she loves Pearl.)
...our walk really exhausted my girls:
Baby girl must've been feeling very mischievous the next day...first she broke into her bathroom cupboard and turned off the baby proof setting:
...then we went to the grocery store and Tenley was being so good in the shopping cart. While I was occupied checking off my list, Tenley was busy stuffing this in the back of her pants:
...when I lifted her out of the cart, I felt it behind her jacket. I couldn't believe it, but was laughing so hard. Then, I told her what she did wasn't nice and we went in to pay for the taco seasoning. I should've known that the silence meant she was up to something...crazy girl!
...being mischievous can really tire a little girl out:
Tenley chowed down on one of her favorite things- Kraft character mac n cheese...
...after lunch, we had this crazy hail/rain storm:
...we snuggled on the couch for a bit:
...then we took our snuggle fest into the bedroom:
(There is nothing better than falling asleep to the sound of rain.)
...the girls woke up in a great mood:
I was really bummed because we were supposed to be headed to San Diego to go see Yo Gabba Gabba Live and take T to the zoo, but Ed decided against it. Since we weren't going to see Yo Gabba Gabba Live anymore we planned on taking Tenley to the new Lied Discovery Children's Museum, but Ed came home from work on Friday with the news that he had to work all day Saturday and Sunday...bummer, again. To top it off, Tenley was teething really bad and woke up with a fever on Saturday...
...she was in a great mood despite her fever:
Since Daddy wasn't in our bed Sunday morning, Tenley sprawled out and kicked me out of the bed...
...once she woke up she wouldn't let Pearl out of her sight:
...she even watched her run around in the backyard:
...then we joined Pearl outside for some fun:
...Ed finally got home from work late Sunday afternoon and Tenley couldn't have been happier to see her Daddy:
(My heart could just explode from looking at these pictures!! Gahhhh...)
Until next week! :)
