My, oh my, how they've grown in just one short month! They are changing every day and their personalities couldn't be any more different.

Little Evie Cakes still has a go-with-the-flow attitude and she has developed such a personality. The second you start talking to her she gets the biggest smile on her face and she loves to make noises to let you know that she's "talking" back. She is very different than her big sister in the sense that she is SO girly. There's just something about her that exudes girliness. I can just picture T and Wes playing in dirt and Ev poking it with her index finger and saying, "grosssssss!" She's very sweet and loves to be held and starred at. She loves to play on her play mat and is constantly rolling into her little bro. Her favorite toy is Tenley's flower rattle. She isn't the biggest fan of the car, unless she has a full belly. She really loves bath time, until she doesn't. She loves to be swaddled. Sometimes when I unwrap her she forgets that she can move and will just lay very stiff and it cracks me up. One of her best qualities is her ability to sleep. Girlfriend sleeps like a rock. She sleeps throughout the night and saws logs until around 9am while the rest of us are already up and at it. She's definitely one of a kind and I wouldn't change anything about her!
Weight: 13 lbs 4 oz (Birth: 7 lbs 15 oz)
Height: 24 in (Birth: 21.25 in)

Diaper Size: 1 (soon to be size 2!)
Moose Man has also developed a personality and is full of smiles. He is the biggest cuddle bug EVER and if you cut his cuddle time short he turns into a grumpy butt. He loves to lay on his back and wiggle around and he also loves to lay on his belly and look into his play mirror. His favorite toys are a blue and green rattle and a colorful Lamaze bird. He loves the car and usually falls asleep while we're driving. He absolutely loves bath time and being slathered with lotion after. He absolutely has to be swaddled in order to fall asleep. If his swaddle gets loose, he'll cry and as soon as I begin to swaddle him and pull the blanket tight his eyes start to roll in the back of his head- he absolutely loves it. Unfortunately, he isn't a solid sleeper like his big sis. He typically wakes up every night around 4am (in addition to waking every 2 hours to nurse) and will only go back to sleep if he's being held. He also likes to start his days early and will usually let me know when he's done cuddling and wants to go play in the living room. Although this little dude causes me many sleepless nights, I cherish the cuddles in the quiet of the night as I know someday he won't want to sleep in my bed and be cuddled by his momma anymore (hearing that in my head just broke my heart...why do they have to grow up?!).
I can't even explain how much joy these two babes have brought to our little family. I have days when all three of my kids want my attention at the same time, days when I get frustrated because Wes is having a hard time latching on, but mostly I have days that they just fill my heart with so much joy that I worry I may die of a heart attack. I wouldn't change our crazy, chaotic life for anything in this world.
Happy two month birthday, Everly and Wesley!!
