Miss to Mrs

The countdown to the highly anticipated Gerfy Wedding has begun:

Francesca's maid of honor, Courtney, threw thee most beautiful and fun bridal shower I've been to and let me tell you, girlfriend did not miss a thing! Francesca's wedding colors are blush and gold so everything was decorated in light pink, gold and, of course, sparkle. Court served an amazing brunch with everyone's favorite drinks...coffee and mimosas:

Courtney made a slideshow of the future Gerfys over the years that everyone enjoyed seeing during the shower:

We played fun games like 'How well do you know the bride?' (turns out the bride hardly knew herself!) and the classic toilet paper wedding dress competition:

But the best game, was an interview with Matt that Courtney had previously recorded where she asked Matt all kinds of questions (when did you first know you were in love with Francesca? What is her best feature? What annoys you the most about her? etc.). The best part about it was watching Francesca's reaction to Matt's answers and seeing the interview go from outside, to the garage gym, to the bathroom, to the bedroom:

For every question that Frannie (the dental hygienist) got wrong, Courtney gave her a big piece of Bubblicious. She ended up chomping on a whopping 8 or 10 pieces at once:

After games, it was time to shower the beautiful bride-to-be with lots of gifts. You can tell how loved Francesca and Matt are because they were truly showered with such amazing and thoughtful gifts. Frannie opened so many gifts that the designated "ribbon bouquet maker" a.k.a. Courtney made Francesca an amazing bouquet for her rehearsal:

I am so lucky to call Francesca one of my best friends of almost nine years. We have so many amazing memories together and I am honored to be a bridesmaid in her and Matt's wedding. Now hurry up, April 25th...we're waiting for Francesca to go from Miss to Mrs!
