I don't know what it is about Evie and the play mat, but girlfriend can not stay awake for more then 5 minutes when she's on it. She slept in past 9:30 on Monday morning and within minutes of playing on the play mat with baby bro the little narcoleptic was down for the count:
Baby brother followed suit in my arms shortly after:
Our little OCD Diva worked on perfectly lining up her Little People all morning:
After a massive blowout, I changed Ev and she was back out with a smile on her sweet little face:
Later that night, Ed and I did some cleaning up around the house while Moose Man and Evie Cakes snoozed:
Wes wore an adorable football onesie and had this disgusted look on his face so we sent the picture to Pop-Pop (the Cleveland Browns fan) teasing him by saying that Wes (the Steelers fan) was disgusted by the orange color on his football onsesie:
(Go Steelers!!)
My babies turned THREE months old!! Can you believe it?? We did our typical monthly photo shoot on the twins' rocking chair and I found Tenley hiding out in Wes' crib, then she insisted on joining the photo shoot:
Linds and Isla came over so the girls could play in the backyard. Wes slept for a bit then hung out in the pack 'n play with sissy before joining us all in the sun. We loaded the babes up with sunscreen, put adorable hats on them, drank smoothies while the girls played their little hearts out and soaked up some vitamin C with the babies:
The twins were exhausted from being in the sun the day before so they took great morning naps:
After their morning naps, they were in great moods:
I'm always tapping Wes and Ev's noses and bellies while saying, "boop!" and they love it. Now that Tenley sees them react she likes to do it to them, too, and it is just the cutest thing:
Tenley has really come a long way in the big sister department in the past few weeks. My heart just melts when she gives them random kisses:
While Ev napped in the living room, Tenley entertained Wes and I in the twin's nursery:
I have been talking to Tenley about the Easter Bunny all week so we decided to take her since she was excited about seeing him. The twins looked adorable in their Easter onsies from Grammy:
When we got to the Galleria Mall there were only a few people in front of us and Tenley kept walking up to the front and waving to the Easter Bunny saying, "HIIII EHHH BUUUNNN!!!!" I mean, girlfriend was SO excited, while the twins were a little less enthused:
By the time it was actually time to take our picture with the Easter Bunny Tenley got a little shy and wanted Daddy to hold her, but was still high-fiving and chatting up a storm with the Easter Bunny and the twins could care less. All and all, I'd say it was a success:
Tenley did tummy time with baby brother and sister and even cheered Ev on:
The twins had a follow-up appointment with their pediatric heart specialist and everything was perfect. Moose Man looked so handsome while sissy was having an ultrasound of her heart done:
Ed had Friday off and everyone was happy about it (except Ed):
Since Ed was off, we spent the day cleaning out the garage to get ready for our garage sale at Karina's on Saturday. Tenley played in her Benz, while the twins hung out in their pack 'n play:
Saturday was garage sale day; which was pret-tay crazy with 2 toddlers and 3 babies, but they had fun. We did good for the first hour, but then realized that someone stole our signs from the main streets. Either way, after not being able to see them for awhile due to Sofia and Alena being sick I'm glad we got to spend some time with them. We always have so much fun together no matter what we are doing:
We had plans to do on a double date with the Rices, but Isla got sick so we spent the rest of our Saturday doing absolutely nothing and it was so perfect:
We spent Sunday morning outside cleaning the car (or should I say cars?) and having all sorts of fun:
After playing outside we came in for some cuddles:
Until next week! :)
