Moose Man and Evie Cakes were all smiles Monday Morning:
(If you're looking for an adorable headwrap, like the ones Evie is always rockin', for yourself, your baby or your toddler, check out the Etsy shop Baby Beans & Me. Monica makes thee cutest headwraps and Evie loves to wear them!)
I caught Wes admiring his sissy:
While the girls napped, Wes and I did some cleaning in the Ergo:
The twins looked adorable in their matching outfits from Grandma Cathy:
Evie napped and looked so sweet while doing so:
The twins started sleeping in their cribs at night. They stay in there for their first long stretch, then they come into our room once they wake up from their stretch so it's easy for me to feed them and then Ed and I get to watch TV in bed before going to sleep. They seem to like sleeping on their super comfy mattresses, too:
The twins are growing too fast and need a lot of attention these days; which takes a lot of juggling with a toddler so I decided to bust out the Bumbos. Ev loved sitting in hers and held her neck up so well, while Wes' head kept floppin' back and he got cranky quickly because he was hungry, per usual:
As a baby, Tenley only fit into the Bumbo from 2 months old to maybe 5 months old (?) because her thighs were so dang chunky. My baby girl isn't that chunky little baby girl anymore and she can now fit into the Bumbo with ease. Even if Wes didn't like it too much, Tenley sure loves playing with them:
It's hard to get everyone to nap when I want them to so I find myself improvising a lot. On Wednesday, Wes napped in his sleeper while us girls laid in bed and watched Frozen; which quickly turned into the three of us snoring away:
Ev woke up from our group nap in a great mood:
If you're wondering why you have hardly seen any pictures of Tenley so far it's because, for lack of better words, she's been a real jerk this week. A total jerk face. If you remember, we took away her bubba last Friday and we thought she handled it well. Turns out, jokes on us because she turned on us and became a total monster this week. I even said to Ed, "what if this is the real Tenley?" She was waking up non-stop throughout the night and pounding on her door. She worked herself up so much Wednesday night that she threw up all over herself. Dealing with her is way worse then taking care of 2 babies. Hands down.
Luckily, Linds brought Isla over to cheer Tenley up a bit. The twins got lots of cuddles from Aunt Lindsay before getting in some play time. Isla and Tenley messed around in the Bumbos, played dress up and we even caught diaper obsessed Isla trying to change Tenley's diaper at one point:
We borrowed Lindsay's carpet cleaner and finally cleaned our juice and milk covered couch. Tenley is obsessed with cleaning (just like her momma) and insisted on helping. Good thing she is such a big help because Ev seems to sleep through everything. Tenley did a really good job:
(Thanks, T!!)
Wes was all smiles while passing gas Friday morning...boys will be boys, I guess:
We got the kids ready when Ed got home from work to go get Ev's ears pierced. Just when you think she can't get any cuter, right?! She did great and hardly cried at all. I swear, sometimes I wonder if she is even real because she is so good. Tenley screamed and nursed for almost 30 minutes after we got her ears pierced, but not Ev. She didn't even need to nurse at all. These girls are like night and day and I thank God for that! She did so great and looks so darn cute, if I do say so myself:
The kids were dressed and in super great moods Saturday morning, so obvi I needed pictures:
(C'mon, Ev! Stop flippin me off!)
(Typical Tenley)
We were up and ready early Saturday so we could head down to The Linq on The Strip so we could show the kids all of Daddy's hard work, but it turns out that all the surrounding parking lots were closed for the Country Music Awards and we didn't want to walk too far with Tenley on foot so we decided we'd have to go back another day. I got a great pic of the ferris wheel from the car, though:
After finding out we had no where to park, we looked in the back to see what Tenley wanted to do and found her passed out at 11am. Quite shocking since she hasn't been napping. Lil' stinker:
Later that night Ed did tummy time with Tenley, Wes and Pearl, while I fed Ev:
(The way Tenley is looking at Ed...swoon!!)
We had a really lazy Sunday full of torturing Pearl, Ev sleeping and smiles from Wes- usually our typical day around here:
Although Tenley put us through the ringer with her horrible tantrums due to missing her bubba, I'm glad it's gone and we WILL get through this and she WILL get better. She IS a happy girl. I will keep telling myself that until it happens. Here's to hoping she shapes up next week!
