Weekly Update

Unfortunately, Tenley and Ed came down with nasty coughs; which meant a week of isolation from friends (booooo!)...

The twins are crawling/climbing everywhere and Copy Cat Tenley is always joining in on the fun:

Ev hates sitting. As soon as you start to sit her down her legs stiffen up and she pushes her legs up so she can stand instead. Girlfriends legs are getting so strong that her favorite thing to do is to stand at her activity table by herself (why is she growing so fastttt?!):

Evie wore her little Guess denim romper from Chelsea and she looked so stinkin' cute! Naturally, it turned into a photo shoot:

(Thanks, Chels!!)

Tenley has been obsessed with my hair, again, and she really likes to "style" it and say "I make mommy hairs so preggy!":

We've had some pretty amazing weather recently- overcast & cool - so when Ed got home from work we played outside and took the kiddos from a walk:

Evie woke up super early the next morning (despite all the fresh air to tire her ass out) so I decided to steal one of Tenley's headwraps so Evie and I could match...ya know, just a little something to give me a little pep in my step at 5am:

Wes slept a little later and woke up very well rested:

We have been planning our very first EVER trip to Disneyland with the Rices for Ed's Dirty Thirty since the beginning of summer, but after spending 10 days in Ohio Ed decided it wasn't going to happen...whomp, whomp, whomp. (You can imagine my heartbreak, right?!) After weeks of nagging discussion, Ed asked his boss for 3 more days off to bring his family to Disneyland for his birthday (have I told you how much I love him recently?). His boss said yes and when we told Tenley she was going to Disneyland and would be having lunch with Ariel she got SO excited and immediately started getting ready:

We made a Mickey Mouse 'Countdown to Disneyland' chain link:

Tenley was so excited to rip the first link off the chain and insisted that "Iggy and Moosey rippy, too!!":

The twins love to play in their big sister's room. If I leave them in their for a minute I always hear them squealing like little piggies. The three of them love each other so much:

Moosey is SO good at sitting:

I attempted to give the twins puffs (they didn't eat them, of course), but they looked cute in their handmade bibs from Dee:

(Thanks, Grandma Dee!!)

We went shopping at the Disney store in anticipation of our Disneyland trip and Tenley freaked when she saw the princess castle in the Disney store (she's going to have a heart attack when she sees Cinderella's castle!!):

Tenley and Wesley cuddled and took selfies while sister napped:

When Ev woke up, her and Wes worked on their leg muscles by standing and playing on their activity table:

We had a lazy Sunday:

The twins started racing to the bath tub at night and Wes thought he would cheat and crawl over Ev...she was pissed:

My Gram gave me these pics of me as a baby and I see a lot of the twins in them, but I have to say, I think Tenley is a mini-Ed:

(How adorable is Ray?!)

We got the twins 7 month photos/family photos back from our photo shoot last week.

I've been waiting for football season for quite some time now and I ordered some custom hair accessories (I know, I have a problem...) from one of my fav etsy shops to pass the time. When I saw that she made a head wrap for her fav college team I knew I had to get my hands on some Steelers headwraps for the girls. I immediately messaged her asking if she could make Steelers headwraps and she asked me to send her the logo of my choice with the type of bows I wanted. I was dying with anticipation of the outcome and they came out amazeballs! I can not wait for the girls to sport these for the opening game of the season when the Steelers whoop the Brownies:
(She now has a listing for every team on her etsy shop so go check out Kristyn's shop!)

Until next week! :)
