Tenley started her day with mail from her besties:
While T was at school, the twins and I went to the park before swim classes:
Tenley brought home her school work and her final report card of the year; which had 5 'E''s for 'Exceeds Expectations' so I was very proud of her:
This week was Tenley and I's last week alone while the twins were in school so I tried to make it really special for her. On Tuesday, we went to the park to swing for a bit, then headed to Chilly Jilly's where she discovered her new found love of cherries:
Wessie Boy fell asleep in the car after swim class:
The kids celebrated their swimming skills with popsicles after swim on Wednesday:
Tenley marked all the Landmarks she's learned throughout the year on a map of the U.S.A. and she was really proud of it:
Thursday was Tenley and I's last solo day before she's off to Kindergarten in August. She planned the day- breakfast on the patio at Egg Works and Town Square after to play. We had such a great time together and I'm really going to miss our mornings alone together:
The twins brought home their Landmark maps and report cards. They got some 'E''s, too; which was super exciting:
Friday morning, the twins came to work with me. Michelle took them to Starbucks while I taught class. They loved being spoiled with cake pops and kisses from Mugs:
(Thanks, Mish!! You're the best!!)
After work, we headed straight to swim class for the kid's final class! I am BEYOND excited for their lessons to be over because I was beginning to feel like a chauffeur. Although it was exhausting, it was well worth it! They are swimming so well and I feel they're prepared for Summer:
I had a stomach bug throughout the week and missed out on teaching a few of my usual classes; which really bummed me out. I came back Saturday morning with a vengeance. The girls said I kicked their seats so hard that they had to take a pic with me. Of course, I agreed! My job is so much fun and these gals are freaking rockstars:
I missed Ev's dance class since I was teaching, but was able to make Tenley's and she finally got her recital costume; which is absolutely adorable:
My in-laws arrived Saturday so we met them for dinner at my Dad's favorite spot in The District- Lucille's. The kids chowed down before getting soaked at the splash pad:
That night Grammy gave the girls some of her Barbie's from when she was a girl and they loved them! The style was a bit different back then so Tenley picked up one of the dresses and said, "my Barbie's will not be wearing that!":
She also brought them fancy tea cups and books from GiGi and Great Grandpa Ed:
(Thanks, GiGi and Grandpa Ed!! We love you!!)
The kids were so excited for new bed time stories, but more excited that Grammy was here to read them:
Sunday was Linds and Mase's BBQ to celebrate for their final bundle of joy- Crosby Mason. The food and treats were perfect and the kids had a blast playing with all the water toys. The kids even put on a piano show for everyone. It was a perfect day and full of love:
(We can't wait to meet you Cros!! Love you guys!!)
Until next time! :)
