Weekly Update

We had a magical Monday morning snuggling baby Crosby. The kids loved meeting him and Ev wouldn't leave his side:

Tuesday was spent cleaning and running errands:

My Mom, Grandma and Aunt Julie came to visit for a week and my Momma kicked off the trip by bringing me lots of Rae Dunn goodies for my collection:
(Thanks, Momma!! I'm SO in love.)

The kids had a blast swimming the morning away with Grandma Cath, Grammy Sophie and Aunt Loolie:

Wednesday evening I taught my two usual classes, but was shocked when I walked out front after my first class and saw Ed. I've been wanting him to take my class since I got certified, but it didn't make sense to get a babysitter just for him to come take my class. Since my fam was in town he got to sneak away and take my class for the first time. I was mad I didn't know so I could've made it as hard as possible, but was so excited to show him what I actually do! He watches me study my notecards all day and listens to me say my classes in the car, but never gets to see me in action so I was in my glory! He surprisingly has really good form and found his "shake" early on so I was extremely proud:

(That's Kristine behind us- the paparazzi!)

I loved teaching Ed and my family loved watching the kids so it was a win-win:

We spent Thursday at Amy's pool where we worked on our cannon balls:

Thursday night we took the kids to 'Toys R Us'. Aunt Jul bought the kids the movie 'A Bug's Life' so they hopefully won't be so terrified of bugs and Grandma Cath let them each pick out a toy:

(Thanks for spoiling them!!)

Ed finally finished our coffee table so I beast-moded it and brought it in the house Friday morning. It's beautiful and the kids loved playing around it:

The kids made chocolate suckers with Grammy and they turned out yummy:

I had to teach Friday evening so my Mom and Aunt got the girls ready for their dress rehearsal:

While the girls were at dress rehearsal, Wesley got all the attention and had so much fun at home:

My mom came to my Saturday morning class and I have to give her major props for giving it a try. People see the ballet barre and just assume it's going to be easy, but it's freaking hard! She did great and I'm so glad she also got to see what I do:

Tenley realized she has her first loose tooth Saturday afternoon; which makes me sad, but she is SO excited:

Saturday was the girl's big day...dance recital day!! They've worked so hard all year for this one night and we were all so excited to see them on stage:

Ev was touch-and-go this year with dance, but ultimately loves it. She is very shy so we weren't sure how she'd do, but she blew us away with her cuteness on stage:

We knew Tenley would do great, no surprise there, but her confidence while performing always blows me away! I hope she always stays so strong and confident in herself:

The girls were both up front for the Grand Finale and rocked out:

After the Finale, the girls got their trophies and were showered with flowers:

The girls got so many flowers for their recital and they made the house look so pretty (although they killed my allergies):

We spent Sunday afternoon at The Westin pool. The kids are such fishes and would swim all day if we let them. It made my day seeing my mom go down the water slide and the twins were brave enough to go down by themselves this time, too. It was such a great day:

All the swimming and heat tired the twins out and they slept on the way home:

We're having a great week with my Momma, Gram and Aunt!! I just love seeing the kids giggle and play with them! This week is full of memories I'll never forget!

Until next time! :)
