We spent Monday morning at the Holmes' house and the kids had so much fun playing together:
We hit up the splash pad with the Holmes crew Tuesday morning and had such a good morning together:
Jackson and Tenley play "house" all the time. Stevie and I watched them whisper secrets and giggle back and forth. These two are the cutest little love birds! When I got closer I noticed that they caught a ladybug:
We went swimming at the Poes Wednesday morning. None of the kids use floaties anymore; which was quite terrifying since there were 5 kids (4 of which were 3 years old) and 2 adults, but they all swam so well! Wes has even started swimming with his head above the water and keeps it moving as he makes his way around the pool- he's so good! We were so impressed with all of them and all the swimming really exhausted them:
The kids were up super early Thursday morning so we played outside before it got too hot:
That evening Ed had a foreman meeting and I had to teach so we called our adoptive Grandma Pat and she rescued us by watching the kids- she's such a gem! The kids had so much fun and Tenley loved making crafts with her:
(Thanks, Pat! We appreciate you so much!)
We met the Rice gals at Sandi and Lou's Friday morning and had such a fun, yet relaxing morning. We made Father's Day crafts with the kids and listened to the giggle all morning:
That afternoon I went into 'Dance Mom' mode as I got the girls ready for their recital pictures. Tenley loves all things girly and loves makeup, but hates the process. This was Ev's first time and we were cracking up the whole time because she just kept belly laughing and saying, "it tickles, mommy!" AND putting her hair in a pony tail with a hair piece was a real hoot:
The girl's pictures had a big gap between them, but they were so good and looked so beautiful! Ev copied everything that she saw the girls doing while Tenley did her own thing and was happy that she got to "help" the "little kids":
I had Saturday off and decided to add a million to-do's to my day. After dance we started our never-ending list and treated the kids to Krispy Kreme for being such troopers:
I taught early Sunday morning, then took my final class from Victoria. She is moving to California and we are all so bummed. She taught my first class ever and inspired my love for Pure Barre. I'll always have a special place for her in my heart:
(Good luck, Tor!! We'll miss you!!)
After work, it was back home to finish the things we started. Well, time for Ed to finish them since he doesn't trust me with paint or a saw:
(I'll keep you posted on this gem!)
Until next time! :)
