T-bird discovered the hose this week:
We cuddled sweetly at nap time:
Tenley made me Tea:
We went to O'Callaghan Park with Daddy:
(This chick can never sit still...)
Tenley learned how to do a somersault and does them everywhere:
T and I goofed off in the backyard:
She learned the word "go":
She watched her new favorite show, 'Super Why!':
We went to The Robbins' house to play and the girls watered their flowers:
T filled up her water park and drank the yucky hose water:
She showed me the "cool" way to swing:
She got some gifts from The Flautos in the mail and loved them (especially the bubble necklace):
(Thanks guys!!)
We put on our swimsuits and played in the pool outside. Tenley kept messing with her bottoms and gave herself thee most adorable wedgie:
(I can't even...)
I got my nails done again because I was desperate for ME time:
Baby girl hit the 18 month mark!!
The Robbins crew came over for breakfast Friday morning. Once we finished breakfast, the kids played in the sprinkler and T got soaked. Our fun morning made for an awesome nap:
Tenley got a new book and read it while we drove to dinner:
These two love birds swung the night away:
Tenley doesn't really talk much so in an effort to get her around kids more to "socialize", I looked for "Mommy & Me" classes for us. I found a gymnastics class for 18 month olds and as soon as she hit 18 months I tried to sign her up, but no one else was in the class so they said we could attempt to do a class with the 2 year olds for free...SCORE! Not so much because she only lasted 6 minutes in the class. I mean, you can't let this kid run around then try to get her to sit and stretch. I guess we'll try it in another year or so. Either way, it was a fun 6 minutes:
Since gymnastics was a bust, we headed to the park:
We went to Ed's friend Scott's house for his daughter Haylee's birthday. Tenley had a blast in the bounce house wrestling and doing somersaults:
We were going to go to a pool Sunday morning, but The Venturino's invited us to meet them at Lake Mead after their maternity photos. Since we've never been there to actually swim before we packed up the cooler and headed out to the lake. Tenley could not contain her excitement when she saw the lake. She loved the water and didn't even mind when she would face-plant in it. Most of all, we had fun with some of our best friends:
(Love her baby bump! Such a beautiful prego.)
Tenley couldn't keep herself awake after all that fun:
We can't wait to go back again and take the girls to feed the fish!
But the very best thing that happened all week was...
Francesca and Matt got engaged on their cruise!! I mean, how perfect, right? He definitely made it worth the wait! I am just sooo excited for them! Congrats guys!
Until next week! :)
