Tenley is obsessed with the Toca Boca Tailor app on the iPad. She is becoming quite the stylist and even whipped up this awesome outfit:
Monday was a rainy day so we watched it rain, played outside during the brief sunshine, colored, and had a dance party to our favorite song:
(I don't care, I love it!!!)
The weather still wasn't too great so we ran some errands, goofed off inside and read lots of books:
Tenley woke up on Wednesday in such a silly mood, per usual:
Then, she quickly came down with a fever. All she wanted to do was cuddle, watch her favorite movie - Despicable Me - and sleep:
(She laughs at these guys every time!)
After a good nap, she was back to her goofy self while I attempted to make the bed:
Since she was feeling better by the time Ed got home, we decided to clean out the garage. Ed was in charge of dressing Tenley while I got started on the garage and this is how she came out:
(REALLY?!?! Did you notice the socks and sandals?? Good Lord, Ed!)
In honor of "Throwback Thursday", my mom texted me a picture of me at Christmas time (right before my second birthday) and I couldn't believe how much Tenley looked like me:
Amy also texted me this pic of Ed and I that I had never seen before:
I got my nails done and they were super fun looking:
Pearl turned 9!!! Can you believe it?? I love her so much, mainly because she doesn't throw tantrums. She just looks at me with her overbite and loves on me all the time! Who couldn't love this cutie:
Tenley woke up with a fever again ::whomp, whomp, whomp:: and was looking really pathetic. Honestly, she moaned and groaned about everything. She was just miserable (and so was I):
Since Chelsea was also having a rough morning and we concluded that Tenley was just viciously teething, we headed to The Robbins to let our grouchy kids keep each other company while we got to chit-chat. Ever time Chelsea and I talk it's like therapy and I don't know what I would do without her. The kids wore each other out and Tenley even took a quick nap on Elle's bed:
I spent Saturday morning/afternoon with Francesca and her super fun mom, Carole, at the Beautiful Bride Expo. The first 200 people in line won prizes so we headed there early and feverishly searched for the Convention Center at the J. W. Marriot. Apparently, no one was as competitive as us because Frannie was first in line!! We were cracking up. I'm not sure if we really won anything, but Frannie got a sticker when she arrived:
We had fun taking pictures and entering contests. Fran even won a $500 spa gift certificate and wedding bands...talk about lucky! If every wedding festivity of hers is this fun, we are going to have a blast over the next 11 months. I just love this bride-to-be:
Tenley's bed rail finally came in and T happily helped Daddy put together her big girl bed:
(I can't believe she already sleeps in a big girl bed...slow down, girl!! I can't wait to re-do her room with the Pottery Barn bedding I picked - turquoise and purple...can't wait!)
We decided to have Tenley make her Mother's Day gifts for her Grandmas and it got a lil' messy, but turned out great:
After our art sesh, we headed to the splash pad:
Last, but not least my in-laws arrived and we celebrated Mother's Day!
Until next week! :)
