Weekly Update

Tenley watched cartoons in her princess chair:

We goofed off and practiced our kissy faces:

Tenley is obsessed with Chapstick and loves to put it everywhere besides her lips:

While slathering Chapstick all over her chin and tongue, I couldn't help but notice how angelic she looked:

Baby girl's pony is getting longer:

T zoomed around the living room in her Benz before crashing into a wall:

T had fun listening to her ABC's in the car:

These two were both fascinated by Tinkerbell:
(Apparently Pearl is excited for the release of 'The Mystical Island', too!!)

We went to The Venturinos and Tenley had fun trying to play with Zeus' toys:

(No, that isn't a horse. He's a pit bull.)

Tenley practiced her "planking" skills:

T played with my hair as we cuddled on the couch:

Tenley started a new thing where she swings with her tongue out the entire time:

T's favorite word of the week is "bye" and she says it so sweetly:

She continued swinging with her tongue out the following day and played with her water toy a.k.a. licking the water and submerging her head in it (she loves dunking her head in water):

The splash pads opened on Wednesday and since the weather was crappy we waited until Friday to take Tenley Bear to our favorite splash pad- Reunion Trails Park. Last summer Tenley was just beginning to crawl and loved to sit in the water, while this year she loved running through the spraying water and didn't sit down once:

We went to Sunset Station on Saturday to do some swimming. This pool is great for kids because it has a shallow entrance that kids could stand and play in. We had a lot of fun swimming with our little fish and even tried to let her swim in her ginormous Hello Kitty floaty (if you look below you'll see that it didn't work because it was as big as her). She loved standing in the 3ft deep water because she loves doing anything that makes her feel like a "big kid". We had such a fun day in the sun:

Tenley refuses to sit in shopping carts like the well-behaved toddler I wish she was. This is how she rolls now:

Although it was Cinco De Mayo, us Italians were doing what we do best on Sundays...eating homemade pasta and meatballs:

Until next week! :)
