Weekly Update

Monday was Labor Day; which kicked off our vacation a.k.a. Ed's Dirty Thirty Celebration Vacation! We spent the morning driving to Cali, then relaxed on the beach and spent the night with our friends in Downtown Disney.

Tuesday we had breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen and spent the entire day at Disney's California Adventure and Disneyland.

Wednesday was Ed's 30th birthday; which we celebrated by having lunch with Tenley's favorite Princesses at Ariel's Grotto.

Thursday was our last day at the parks and we took it easy since we had a long drive home.

BIG thanks to Karina for taking such great care of Pearly, again. Don't know what I'd do without such a sweet friend like you. Love you!

Friday we weren't in Disneyland (whomp, whomp, whomp) and we were totally having withdrawals, but managed to get through the day:

Since Tenley missed the first day of preschool while we were on vacation I arranged for her to meet her teacher and catch up Saturday morning. She was so excited about all the books that they had and instantly got to reading all of her favorites while her teacher, Miss Marsha, went over some paperwork with me. Then, Miss Marsha explained to Tenley that they will each be making a alphabet train this year. On the first day they made the front of the train and will be adding a letter each week to the train. I'm so excited to hang up her artwork each week and she had so much fun making her train with Miss Marsha:

Later that day Ev practiced pushing around her new kitty cat from Disneyland in her walker:

Sunday was the start of football season and the Steelers played the Browns so you know I had the kiddos decked out! We played outside as we waited for the game to start:

I was in a great mood the rest of the day since the Steelers pulled off the win (yeah, I said it...it was a close one).

Tenley starts preschool tomorrow! Wish me us luck!

Until next time! :)
